AS he was being wheeled off , a commentator opined his jaw must have been shattered. Then, at the presser, the drama queen certainly didn't have any trouble enunciating and made much of his eight stitches. Can we get a stitch count here?

Brett Favre has always played well against the Patriots. He had a good game tonight too. I'm sorry to see what happened to him but delighted the Patriots got a win over him in Gillette.

Does anyone else feel that Favre's press conferences are turning into "Daily Affirmations by Stewart Smiley"? I haven't heard a player with so much self love as this guy and a need to brag about how tough he is and how resiliant he is and how people just like him.

I am becoming convinced that Favre will play until no one wants him anymore. His ego is too big to sit on a tractor in Kilne, MS and just retire. He needs the media to fall over themselves for him. He will totally rip apart the Vikings locker room by the end of the season.

There will be another team that will take Favre. There are a lot of teams with horrible starting QBs. He is done in Minnesota unless the fans decide it is all Childress and they want Favre back with another coach.

Guess what he didn't do anything wrong today. Even the int he is down for is not correct imo, it was a catch by Harvin and it was ripped out by McCourty.
