When Brady willingly took less money from 2014-2018, the Patriots played in four Super Bowls and won three of them. That hadn't happened in the NFL since (checks notes) the Patriots did it way back in 2001-2004 when Tom was paid like a 6th round draft pick. So you pretending like this was commonplace, or all any team needed was a great QB is fan fiction. They went a decade without actually winning a ring when Brady was the highest paid, or among the highest paid in the NFL... even if they came close a few times.Youre ignorant.
Brady was tired of taking less money so BB could pay for a team only for BB to spend pennies on deadbeat WRs. Tony Romo alluded to this during a broadcast. Brady picked a new team with 2 good WRs in Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. BB wanted Brady gone because he was sick of his BS.
Youll never figure it out.
Brady didn't want to rebuild in 2020 at the age of 43, which is what it would have taken. His wife also wanted them to move to Florida. Yeah, it helped that Tampa had the best weapons and was the best overall team he could have joined. It didn't hurt that they could also afford to pay him 30 million per.
Feelings don't mean sht in relation to millions of dollars... or trying to save his marriage. Brady was asked what Bill meant to his career afterwards and he teared up, got misty... stop trying to tell us these guys hated each other because you look like a fool.
You don't understand the NFL has a salary cap, and it's a hard cap. This isn't baseball. But here, listen to someone who actually knows how it works. When asked why no other team managed to win three rings in four years....
“I think what makes it such a challenge, it’s hard to win one Super Bowl,” Brady said. “There’s salary caps. You just can’t go buy a football team." - Tom Brady
