I'd think it would be ideal to have the bye and HFA wrapped up in the final couple of weeks/week of the season to shut Gronk down again and give him a few/couple of weeks off to rest.

Unfortunately, not gonna happen this year. Houston's gonna win out, meaning Pats got to too. Think they have a good shot at doing it.
Maybe not shut Gronk completely down( which would be great) but limit his snaps last 2 games. Then he'd have 2 more weeks with bye to heal up.
