On more thing then I have to get back to work, apparently:

Comparing regular season INT % to playoffs
....................Reg...........Playoffs
Brady...........1.8...............2.5
Ben R...........2.7...............3.9
P. Mann.......2.7...............2.4
Favre............3.3..............3.8
Rodgers.......1.5................1.6
Montana.......2.6..............2.9
All higher INT% in playoffs

Well, ALL except for Peyton Manning, who ironically is known as the biggest playoff choker.

That's what you get for throwing pick-sixes in the Super Bowl.
sorta reminds you though that even though picks are bad...winning is more important

Brady has a higher INT% but much better win %, the opposite is true of Manning

Winning trumps all, but turnovers are usually a big part of winning

Do you really think a fumble = INT?
I know the end result is the same, but they portray very different things.
There is a reason why they must measure QB's by INT and RB by fumbles, right?

By this logic, Brady "choked" away the Snow Bowl but a loophole saved him.
In 2006, Brady almost "choked" the game away with three interceptions against the Chargers and the divisional game. It took a miraculous play by Troy Brown to save us.
The following game, he threw another interception in the final minutes when we lost the championship game to the Colts.

There is a reason he is tied as the alltime playoff lead for INT - he plays in a lot of games and he is good for about 1 pick per game.

Rodgers scrambles more, has a little Favre in him (backyard plays) and probably a greater risk to fumble than Brady (who brilliantly avoids pressure and is not shy about throwing the ball away).

Hell yeah a fumble = an interception. For one thing the sack-fumble didn't even come from his blindside. For another he was trying to pass not run. If Rodgers doesn't deserve blame for that fumble than Brady doesn't deserve blame for the 2nd interception against Denver last year. Both of those turnovers came under pressure.

Almost chokes don't count. Rodgers had two "almost chokes" last week alone.

Someone made the claim here that, unlike Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady has never lost a playoff game in which his passer rating was great.

The Chargers and Colts games you mention are not relevant since they were not statistically great passing game. Those Brady games are more along the line of Rodgers' games against Chicago in 2010 and SF in 2013.

With their win over the Texans, they are now 4-3 under Belichick when turning the ball over three or more times in the playoffs.

That is true... however, of those 4 wins, 3 of them were followed by losses... 2006 AFCCG, 2007 SB, 2011 SB... the 4th? Well, we will find out on Sunday. Kinda like to break THAT streak. o_O

You're overstating it.

Brady 2.5%
Manning 2.4%

Brady has thrown 200 more passes in the playoffs.

...often times with fewer elite weapons and a limited running game

Breaking Down Tom Brady’s Conference Championship Struggles

Four of the last five AFC Championships were against arguably the best defenses in the league and twice those teams the Patriots lost to went on to win the Super Bowl. Those were veteran defenses built with beating Brady in mind. But the biggest takeaway from those games, especially in 2012, 2013 and 2015 was the lack of help around Brady.

The Patriots were especially one-dimensional in those three games, putting more pressure on Brady, resulting in 148 passing attempts.

It's called risk reward. It has nothing to do with the level of competition has everything to do with the fact that you're either going forward to live another day or you're done.

his td to int ratio is almost 2 to 1, thats not bad considering its against very good teams

Yet another of many "My **** is really small and I'm scared" thread bites the dust

Not this team! Not THIS Team!

Can fans actually think rather than emote before posting these threads?
