Classy as always....it seems from his appearance that this does not upset him as much as when he lost Branch but we shall see on the field how he reacts if the teams offense is struggling.

This offense will need a few weeks to gel.

I think they'll be fine right out of the gate in the Baltimore game. Its not like that added 5 new players, they dropped one. Everyone thats playing knows their role.

That one made everyone else better. The offense has taken a hit, Ill be surprised if they keep rolling along just as good.

I'm sure that's why The Hoodie pulled the trigger on the trade this week. An extra day or two to get everyone acclimated to not having #81.

I agree. They'll compensate in fact, BB knew about Moss' desire to be traded back in week 1. BB's probably had at least some idea of a plan B floating around in his brain for awhile now.

It seems like a weird vibe down there. Everyone seems very understanding...almost too understanding.

I think they have been invaded by body snatchers.

We should all be very wary.

Yup. Every team in the league likely has a file cabinet full of contingency plans based upon losses to personnel, either to injury, temporary, whatever. Heck, that's why Coach keeps bringing in all sorts of folks for evaluations/tryouts, etc. Works for me!

You mean the players or...?

Hmmm What's weirding me out watching that is... I've watched a LOT of Tom interviews over the course of YEARS. And while that doesn't make me an expert, from the opinion of a fat guy on a couch, he really doesn't seem broken up about this. I think two things:

1. He's known about this way longer than a week (maybe since week 1 or earlier)

2. He's genuinely okay with it. I'm not sure if that's because he's gotten used to people he likes coming/going or if it means he's glad it happened. Honestly can't tell. Think it's probably just familiarity (earning that hefty new paycheck) but if in 10 years I start to hear stories about them having a falling out on the team, I'd have to consider it's possible.

Hmmm.

Definitely. Even if he didn't "officially" know, he's been around long enough to know the signs, he's seen it happen plenty of times.

He definitely seems ok with it, I wonder if that's really how he feels? Interesting if he does.

Missed it... where can I see the whole interview?

He's older and wiser. He is used to the business side of things. And he's already seen his best receiver get traded away during the Branch situation.

He does say that Belichick "thinks" this is the best for the team. I doubt he's terribly upset, but I don't think we'll get a good read from him one way or the other.

I don't think this will make as big a difference as people think. If you think about it...guys like Tate can streak down the sideline in single coverage which will make downfield catches easier but maybe not as frequent. And with their good young tight ends plus still with Welker they should be able to sustain longer drives to help the D, it'll be hard to cover their tight ends.

He used to make everyone else better. This year, that is very debatable.

HE's OK with it because Moss quit on the team, and he didnt want him around nay more anyway.
