1.) The Pats have Tom Brady as their QB and the run game was getting stuffed ALL night. On second down I was hoping they came out in a shot gun with at least 4 WR spread out wide. Oh, and Blunt (the team's goalline back) had already fumbled once in the game.
2.) The Seahawks had a workhorse back who had been effective. Even with that being said I don't think it was a bad play or play call by Seattle but instead of a great individual play by Malcolm Butler.
Just smash it in with Blount, that was a heart stopping moment
Really? I was thinking THAT was the pass that nearly turned Tom's legacy into a confusing mess. Could have been picked off. He didn't put enough on it...just surprising on first down there would be a 50/50 ball where the defender actually had a better chance to catch it.

Even though I was big fan of calling for a pass, I actually wasn't a big fan of THAT play. Like I said, spread them out and let White, Amendola, and Edelman do what they do best (one will get open).
I like a jump ball to Bennett with Beasley covering him. There's a reason he didn't pick it off. He's Vic Beasley in coverage.
Then it was an execution issue
No question. The matchup was perfect. Bennett is 6-7 for cripes sakes. He totally under-threw it. Throw it up high!
Same kinda throw to Gronk vs SEA
Clearly Brady needs to work on that.
Slacker.
It was also his first incompletion after 11 straight for 124 yards on the last 2 drives, with only 2 runs mixed in.THAT was the pass that Pete Carroll should have ordered 2 years ago on 2nd and goal... but I won't complain that he did something different.
Joke or not, Brady's definitely thinking that. I bet he makes that pass thousands of times this offseason.
