Patriots Player Departure Brady gone

Is there anyone that didn't see this coming especially after the absolute trash BB left him? BB 100% doesn't want Brady back.

This is tough but it isn't like Brady is 25 years old. Guy will 43 when the season starts and is showing signs of slowing down and may only have a year or two left anyway.

Of course next year is going to suck. The schedule is brutal, they have an unknown QB and as of right now zero receivers and TE. Could be a 5 win season.

It's a jump that is more that acceptable. I will be a temporary fan of whatever team signs him. Unless he's facing us and until he retires.

Sorry but the Patriots don't get anywhere close to 8-8 if Stidham is QB, he looked quite frankly horrendous the few times I've seen him.

It's gonna suck to see Brady in another jersey, especially when it ends up being a Bucs one.

As someone who grew up a Pats fan and went to Michigan with TB, this hurts. But all the posts recently got me mentally prepared for this. And with the current stuff going on in the country, this doesn't hit as hard as I thought it might.

2020 is a trash year.

I don't blame Brady at all though, got 20 amazing years out of him and that's about 10 more than you can really even hope for. Will continue to root for him wherever he lands.

I knew this was going to happen! Once we got knocked out of the wildcard round, I knnew he was gone! Onto the next Patriots era! Lets Go Patriots!!

Of course it is. Building around a 43 year old is a horrible idea. If Brady did come back pats would be paying him 30 million a year which leaves them with zero dollars to sign anyone else.

With Brady back it goes from a 5 win season to a 9 win season at best.
