Seems like an odd time to auction off such things. FOX is paying him well so I don't think it's about the money, so why not just hang on to the stuff which should appreciate with time, or just to have the things as personal memorabilia? Maybe the divorce cleaned him out? Regardless, good luck with your bids, patsfans members!

NOTE: Site preview feature seems to be messing up at least in my browser, some links may not be visible...

I’m sure he had more items than he knows what to do with. Maybe it’s for charity.

I suppose, but none of the articles mention charity, and he's auctioning off some really memorable items, like his Michigan bowl jersey and the jersey he wore in the NFL Draft. Maybe he's just not all that sentimental about them given his seven rings, but still, you'd think they were things a person with means would hang onto.

Brady over the years hasn’t publicized a lot of the charity work he has done. I read that he’s raised a lot of money for his church and school that he went to outside of San Francisco and did so without much attention. Probably a lot of other stuff no one knows much about.

Sounds like there is very limited sports related pieces available... and when i think of Brady memorabilia, i don't think about his watch collection

I hope I'm not displaying "toxic positivity" by saying that's great to hear.

Perhaps Tom has yet to switch from his long time financial advisor to the more knowledgeable "me know that not real money" Gronk.

I kinda doubt he's hurting for cash. Ever wonder what the monthly upkeep on his mansions alone might be? Such wealth is genuinely weird. I doubt it's an unalloyed joy to be that wealthy. Everything about your life is altered by that much wealth: your relationships with people - everything.

I'd like maybe 10 million or so. If you are reading PF, Tom, message me, and I'll forward my routing number and account information.

Your True Pal, Thelonious,

I really wonder why he's selling this stuff. Some of those items are pretty special, especially that wristband from the Super Bowl vs. Falcons.

That's a great question and one that requires a guess.

He's selling anything that remains from his time with Gisele and he's giving the proceeds to charity.

He just invested a huge chunk of change in a football team. The guy may be rich on paper but poor on cash.

Must be hurting for money after the split

He saving up to buy France?
