Bill’s first offer…

If Atlanta gets Cousins, are we sure they win that division? TB is still stacked on offense with good players on D. Mayfield has shown he can be very good with those weapons.

If Atlanta moves up to take Daniels or someone else, no rookie QB has ever won a SB. Heck, Warner & Brady are the only first year starters (not rookies) to win the big game.

Blank must be giving Bill some assurances they will get a QB and make key additions. Because I don't foresee a 72 year old going to another rebuilding project.
SB? You think Belichick is winning a SB with Atlanta? LMFAO

I am not worried about being "consistent"

Would hate to lump you into the same category as Showtime15, because quite frankly, that's where you are headed.
Magic button time?

the super bowl is really a non issue at this point, and realistically should not be part of the Atlanta evaluation. No coach has ever won the Super Bowl with 2 different teams. Back to competitive? That should be the goal. Then replace him after the rebuild.

And only two QB's have managed the feat, the first being Peyton Manning followed by Tom Brady.

It has nothing to do with Belichick or choices. Everyone in the NFL knows he's signed, sealed, delivered to Atlanta. Dallas knew this, everyone else did.
Did fake Nostradamus also predict the Falcons winning the SB in 2024?

The big issue is that Cousins has two question marks.

1. The dude is primarily money motivated and he's probably going to milk the hell out of whatever market exists for him to get the highest value. He's good enough that I can see there being a big enough market that it becomes something Bill balks at.

2. He is 35 coming off an ACL tear, the first major injury of his career. You don't know what you are getting with him next year.

3. The Vikings are a better team than the Falcons and Kirk couldn't get them over the hump.

I'm sure Blank is telling Bill that they want to win. But Bill isn't really in a position to demand assurances. Right now his market looks like it's Atlanta or Carolina. Worst team vs the 8th worst team.
ATL is #17 in cap space, with about 26M. Fortunately for them, Bill won't be the GM.

Seriously, no team has less talent than the Pats. One of these days I'm going to sneak a peak at the numbers and see just how bad.

Atlanta should be an easy fix for Bill. Defense is his specialty and he can pick up a QB. He may not win a SB there but it's a good place for him.
Bill wouldn't be the GM in ATL, which is a good thing.

What do you care. Bill's no longer a Patriot.

Are you supporting your HC Mayo?
Mayo is going to need all the support he can get.
My prediction is Mayo is going to be out in 2 years, tops... a couple of 3 and 4 win seasons ain't gonna help.

Belichicks biggest mistake was the Brady debacle.

Kraft resented him after that bucs superbowl win.

I think Bill had the keys to car, but he was treated like a student driver.

I think Bill can be a terd.. and for that reason I don't count him out.

Ok so you're just being hypocritical then
Got it.

But, there have been coaches who lost in the Super Bowl and came back and won with other teams at other places like Andy Reid and **** Vermeil, perhaps a few others. Gruden??

Anyway, my point is, it's damn hard to even win a Super Bowl. Very few coaches have been to 2 with 2 different teams.

BB and Brady are on good terms now so he should talk TB12 into coming to Atlanta with him for one last ride. Get the band back together! Lol

Hypocritical? Nah. You know that and I know that. Inconsistency is normal, while rigid behavior is not. Proporting that people act the exact same way between two events with different circumstances is classic strawman, and in this case is quite weak, and is really a feeble attempt at playing "gotcha".

But I get it Showtime... Petty is as petty does.

Was just thinking about something.. 24-8 was Russell Wilson's numbers this season, 24-8 was Brady's numbers his last season here in 2019. If we had those numbers from the QB position we'd be in the playoffs right now!

Here's my thoughts. Mayo will be given all the opportunities to succeed. The organization has been embarrassed the last 2 seasons and image is everything to the Kraft family.

Mayo will grow into his HC role as he goes along, I like he speaks his mind and isn't a bill clone. The benefit is he's been a sponge to Bill on his football intelligence and how to run a staff.

We get the QB, we will win. We don't we will loose.

Absolutely, that's what real men do, hide behind buttons.
Wax posted in directly in the thread for everyone to see, and the reply was in public as well. Who's hiding?

YOU just don't know what he's talking about.

Bill has one offer and it's the Falcons. The narrative that the media fired Belichick and he has all these teams lining up to hire him is not proving to be true.
