Does anybody still disagree that the greatest offseason need is at guard?

For those who want to say "the whole OL" -- well, we have Stork at C backed up by Wendell, and we have 4 OTs that we're unlikely to cut.

For those who want to say "pass rusher" -- we have Jones, Ninkovich, Hightower, and perhaps Ayers.

For those who want to say RB -- well, I see your point, but the OL seems more of a pressing issue to me.

OL (LT) and WR

OL and resigning our 2 star DB, I assume I don't have to specify which 2 I am referring to...

Offensive line and someone that can rush the passer

spend all the draft picks on the offense

A sure fire guard that can also play tackle when called upon. I got a few in mind.

Interior OL, tackle, and wide receiver.

It certainly could be argued that tackle would fall much lower on this list and may not even be a need whatsoever, depending on how the franchise views Nate Solder. Personally, I'm still a bit apprehensive.

No doubt that IOL and WR (depth + outside option) need to be improved upon.

. his first year solder played very well but since then i him above average but not great, certainly not who you would want protecting a qb like TB. S0 im going with a Lt tackle and lt guard in the top three rounds. After that a D lineman

Yeah, I think an improvement in the CB area would go very, very far as well--not just because teams continue to pick on players such as Logan Ryan, but also for depth, in case of injury.

One could certainly argue that it's not anything of a "need" like some other positions, but if Revis is re-signed, I'd like to continue to see the secondary play as well as they are now, if not even better. It's just an area that you can never have enough depth and talent at.

Good point. Yeah, I forgot about DL. I'd like to see a high round DL pick too.

I was just listing what I perceived as immediate "needs."

Guard, tackle, and someone who can rush the passer.

Of course, the main priority must be to resign McCOurty & Revis

Uh, folks, I don't know why BB was experimenting, but Cannon got in a lot of snaps at LT, AND he did not show well.

This probably has to do with Nate Solder. Isn't he a free agent after this season? Frankly, BB needs to realize that this line needs a Left Tackle and two Guards. If the Pats don't make it to the Super Bowl, it will be because of the O-line. They are very beatable.

Offensive line is #1 but the wide out core needs help too. Their nickname should be "Two and a half men." Edelman out badly hurt the offense, especially with little time to throw. Like I've said many times before, a Jabar Gaffney would be perfect. I would count anything Dobson, Boyce, Tyms do as a bonus as in I wouldn't not make a move with expectations that one of them is going to contribute. Dola's contract obviously has to go but I'd like to take him back on vet minimum in hope that he's 4th or 5th on the depth chart.

Or close to that. The DL is the one part of the defense that has age issues.

But I'd love to see two starting guards emerge in the offseason, with Connolly moving on or not as the case may be and Wendell being a super sub.
