Albert O & his height/weight/speed/length should indeed be a Day 2 (probably 3rd round) prospect now...Kmet has become a borderline 1st-rounder that should Not be considered a Reach at 23...Harrison Bryant disappointed, both physically & athletically, and is now firmly behind Kmet if not Trautman also...Asiasi looked like a Day 3 guy all the way, firmly behind Josiah Deguara, who probably improved his stock more than any other TE at the combine.

Good evaluations Captain and I don't have any major disagreements with you.

The combine didn't change my evaluations of the TEs I watched before on tape, especially Harrison Bryant.

Asiasi actually still appeared very fluid in the field drills and had more production than Kmet in college. While Kmet might get drafted higher, Asasi could represent good value if he drops to the fourth round.

As I noted many TEs draft profiles aren't that athletic who tested well with individual traits but are well-rounded football players whose football traits (catching/route-running) have translated into more receiving production than those who were more athletic at the combine.

Yeah Asiasi might be a Day 3 guy, but he's an Early Day 3 guy who should still be available with our 4th-rounder but definitely not with any of our 6ths...
Another guy who also impressed is Portland State's Charlie Taumoepeau; I don't believe that, because of his height, he's an on-line NFL TE 1/2 as much as he's an off-line TE3/FB, but his hand/length are more than adequate...
Charlie T, Asiasi & Josiah Deguara (& Thad Moss, depending on medicals) could all be in play when the next wave of TEs begins during Day 3/Round 4...

The kid from Portland state has definitely intrigued me. Time to hit the tape to see what he is all about.

Add VA Tech's Dalton Keene to the list of combine Winners, too.

Albert O looks useless as a blocker. Good athlete but lacks route running and blocking skills. I'd pass on that likely bust.
Devin Asiasi is my fav TE in the class. He's not going to wow anyone, but he's just solid in every aspect. Sort of a Dwayne Allen, Nick Boyle, Xavier Grimble type.
Cole Kmet's last name should be Meht. He's pretty meh. He doesn't use his size well or have any special athleticism or skills.
Brycen Hopkins has some receiving skills but is small and likely not a very good blocker.
Thaddeus Moss - won't get separation, has no particular catching skills of note.
Trautman - bad athlete, despite his nice 3 cone time.
Dalton Keene - maybe worth a 7th rounder or an UDFA look as a blocker.

This is one of the worst TE classes I've ever seen. I'd only take a couple in the first three rounds, and even that is stretching it.

Shows how little I know !,.....I was beginning to get excited that there was a few more tight ends in this draft that could succeed. I can only base this on what games I have access to , senior bowl and the combine (admittedly that is not much). Think I would still try and draft one this year, even if it was for playing a year or two into the future :(

I disagree that it's a poor TE draft class. It's just not incredibly deep. It runs 10 deep as far as draft worthy TEs. And I wouldn't be surprised if there is a run on TEs starting in the 2nd round. Hopefully the Pats are smart enough to snag a PASS CATCHING TE in round 3.

I’d be fine with trading or signing a pass catching TE, but I want to draft one as well. This offense is at its best when it has two capable pass catching TEs. The Gronk/Hernandez era and the 8 games of Gronk/Bennett, this offense was unstoppable. If they have Hooper/Draftee, it opens up more space for Edelman & Harry.

Marshall Pro Day gives Herd football players an opportunity to prove themselves to NFL

An interesting possible late-round/UDFA TE prospect.
