Plain and simple: what do you think was the Patriots best regular season touchdown of 2015?

What I would suggest for voting critieria would be........what TD would be the highlight that would have the best chance of making ESPN's top ten? Or what would be the highlight you would show someone based on degree of difficulty or superior athletic ability? Of course, game context does deserve some consideration, so if you want to vote based on that then go for it.

I've only listed 10 TDs. I'll apologize in advance as I'm sure someone out there will point out an impressive TD that I have forgotten at this moment.

So of the following 10 TDs what would you rank as the best of the year? I have included youtube links for each one as well in the event that you forget the specific play.

1.) Edelman's 22 yard catch, run, dive at Buffalo

2.) Edelman's 59 yard catch and run at Dallas

3.) Dion Lewis's catch & juke in Dallas

4.) Gronk's 76 yard TD at Giants
Rob Gronkowski's 79-yard Catch-'n-Run TD! | Patriots vs. Giants | NFL
5) Brady's scramble/Blount's 11 yd TD rec at IND
(3:07 mark)

6) Amendola's 11 yd TD Rec vs PHI

7) Edelman's shifty, 16 yd TD vs Dolphins
Julian Edelman Dives for the TD & Takes a Big Goal Line Hit! | Dolphins vs. Patriots | NFL

8) Gronk's 2nd TD (6 yds) in opener against Steelers
Tom Brady Hits Gronkowski for 2nd Touchdown | Steelers vs. Patriots | NFL

9) Amendola's clutch 8 yd TD in traffice vs NY Jets
Tom Brady's Perfect Laser-Pass to Danny Amendola for the TD | Jets vs. Patriots | NFL

10) Brandon Bolden 63 yd TD at Denver
Tom Brady throws TD #420 to Brandon Bolden for a 63-Yard TD! | Patriots vs. Broncos | NFL

Doh....only ten choices, I was also going to include the following.......

11) Gronk's 50 yard catch and run vs Dolphins
12) Edelman's 8 yd TD catch and run vs Redskins

13) Sheard/Collins combining for sack, fumble, td at NY Jets

14) Gronk catch and juke TD at Denver

Holy crap I forgot how good we used to be. Looking forward to having Edelman back on the field. What a difference maker.

You know, in watching his highlights I was thinking the exact same thing. It's amazing how he is able to find the end zone with his shiftiness. In watching alot of his highlights I'm thinking "ok, given the current situation he is a facing when catching the ball, there are only a few people who would be able to turn the yac into a TD"

THis includes the TD against the Redskins as well (whcih I didn't post a link but I'll do that now)

Lewis' touchdown against Dallas. Not even remotely close. Maybe the Amendola catch against Buffalo in Week 2 if it had gone for a TD, but it didn't. Lewis' catch and subsequent jukes where he broke half of Dallas' ankles was DIRRRRRRRTY.

Lewis is just amazing, looks like Barry Sanders

Gotta be the Lewis play. There were at least 3 times I thought he was down then he wasn't. That had everything I want out of a football play speed, moves, power, and willpower will not be denied I am scoring b#%÷#es!!!!

Gronk's TD against the Broncos or Dion Lewis' TD against the cowboys.

I just took a look at the Lewis play again and counted FIVE Cowboys defenders in which dodged/ducked/dipped/dived/dodged around to score the TD WITHOUT ANY BLOCKERS.

Lewis's was great, individual effort wise, but iMHO the best team TD was White's 30-yard convoy escort against the Titans.

Well that's great that Lewis can dodge defenders but can he dodge a pipewrench? Can he dodge a bullet?

Not on your list but the Gronk 2 yarder against the Bills in week 2 gave a lot of satisfaction. It gave me hope that multi-TE formation would be an intriguing one going forward, it was almost indefensible. Unfortunately they then seemed to move away from it. Hopefully we'll get to see it in the SB.

Lewis's touchdown was just amazing. Edelman's TD against Dallas was pretty good as well.

@brdmaverick - Great job putting this thread together. Enjoyed it.

I voted for Gronk's TD against the Giants. Because, you know, Giants.

Before I even clicked on the thread, the Lewis play popped up in my head. At first, I didn't see it among the choices...to me, it's not all that close, but there were some nice plays along the way.

The following weren't TDs but were by far the 2 best catches on the year for the Pats:

Week 7 vs Jets: http://a.video.nfl.com/films/2015/N...e_brady_to_amendola_14_yards_326609_3200k.mp4

Week 2 vs Bills: http://a.video.nfl.com/films/2015/N...bills_amendola_29-yard_catch_298181_3200k.mp4

Brady's deep balls to LaFell should start going Amendola's way instead. He's made some ridiculously tough AND acrobatic catches, not just this year, but the previous 2 years as well. He's not as tall as LaFell, but at least he'll fight and jump for them.

Dion Lewis TD for sure. But it is bitter sweet to rewatch. I miss him

Runner ups:

1. Gronkowski's 70 TD vs the Giants

2. Edelman's diving TD vs the Bills (that was my 'oh ****' realization that the team looked even better than last year...for a while at least)

Love the JE 59 yrder and in that same game DL and those moves
