Well said. Think about the great guys in the 70s and 80s. Ryan (now an official douche), Gammons, McDonough (a screwball, but a great writer), Jackie Mac (now another douche) and others. The crew now sucks. Chad Finn is an honest, good writer. After that, its bad.

The funny thing is he was on Toucher and Rich and he talked about how he blasted Brady in his on Twitter for never denying doing anything in his press conference. As the interview went on, I think it was Rich who kept on pulling up quotes from Brady's press conference where he did. Volin kept on trying to dig himself out of the hole by saying, yeah but he didn't say X and they would counter with a quote where he did. It was embarrassing for Volin.

EDIT: You can find the interview here (May 15th, hour 3 at 12:20 mark and the comedy at Volin's expense starts about a minute later. You gotta listen to the whole interview to get him discredited multiple times (The Toucher response, "Oh Ben, you are killing Ben" is worth sitting through Volin's idiocy).

The Globe is an influential, albeit fading, platform. He's going to be seen and read no matter what. Our little corner of the world boycotting the Globe won't make a hill of beans difference. Looking at the sidebar twitter feed doesn't pay him a cent.

Honestly, the only reason I know of him + keep hearing of him is because of that side feed.
