This guy carries a grudge 24/7. Whatever it is, if Belichick is involved, I'm against it. (Marx Bros. "Horsefeathers"I'm glad Ted Johnson is able to serve as that conduit of league opinion.

Starting 1-3 and making the playoffs is not a blue print toward success. Even so, the team didn’t look bad despite starting with a losing record. The jury is out with this group, there was optimism heading into last season….now? Not so much. Why should they change their process?
They started 1-3 last year and made the playoffs.
Winning another game in Sept does not make them a better team in January.
Any person who has any experience of betting on the NFL, and really anyone who watches the NFL, should be keenly aware that it's week 5 where teams begin to show their true colors and begin to separate.Starting 1-3 and making the playoffs is not a blue print toward success. Even so, the team didn’t look bad despite starting with a losing record. The jury is out with this group, there was optimism heading into last season….now? Not so much.
I think another 1-3 start has real potential to send an already self-doubting team into a downward spiral.
Not via Ted.I'm glad Ted Johnson is able to serve as that conduit of league opinion.

Bill is very good at making a team confident in executing. Just takes timeEven so, the team didn’t look bad despite starting with a losing record. The jury is out with this group, there was optimism heading into last season….now? Not so much.

Ted Johnson???Not via Ted.
Hes still sipping the koolaid.
Outside the region.Ted Johnson???
Hes the biggest BB detractor in the region.
noits implied....
Ted Johnson is a bitter troll. There is a history there.Outside the region.
Sober assessment.
Johnson did not say that Mac Jones looked not ready.Ted Johnson is a bitter troll. There is a history there.
Everyone knows the NEP had a **** preseason and have a ton of questions going into the season.
For Johnson to take ownership of validating an opinion many have is hilarious.
Hes still finding his footing as a contrarian douchebag sports personality and hes awful at it.
Way too much overanalysis.Johnson did not say that Mac Jones looked not ready.
Others have.
Word around the league is that Jones is no where near ready.
Sure, Mac and the offense have looked downright bad at times throughout the preseason. There's a number of factors at play which I'm not going to dive into here as they've been discussed plenty elsewhere. You can go ahead and assume that they're going to continue to play exactly as they played on Friday night and have a horrible season. Don't be surprised if most fans of the team are counting on BB, Mac, the OL, and even the rest of the questionable coaches to figure things out and improve over the next month.Johnson did not say that Mac Jones looked not ready.

The negativity is completely over the top. I'm all for accurate reporting but there is a minimal amount of perspective. The problem is Ted still has valuable nuggets to offer here and there, having played in the NFL especially for New England. But I must say, media negativity toward the Patriots this preseason has been relentless across the board. That, along with dismal performances thus far, has been damn depressing. In my 28 years as a season ticket holder I can't recall a more pessimistic vibe around this team heading into a new season.

Johnson will always have some street cred with me and I loved him as a player which makes his ******** much harder to process.
Well you showed up in 2020. That may have something to do with it. Had you been here to talk football during the bleak years in Buffalo you may have been treated different. As it stands you look like someone who shows up just to talk up his team.I don’t know why people take every time I post as an opportunity to smack talk. We’re just talking football.
As someone who has brought up this specific point not too long ago and actually thinks BB is dead wrong on keeping up this part of his approach to the game:I don’t know why people take every time I post as an opportunity to smack talk. We’re just talking football.
