Dorfman( aka Flounder from animal house) at the Boston herald 's new blog point after.. Say Belichik bolting the meetings caught people off guard..and a complaint is being filed with the pro football writers of america...

I guess he did not want to deal with how come you let your kicker get away .. the same kicker that won you all your championships.. kind of questions..

Huh?? a violation for leaving?? OK OK...Parcels always is not there...so what is the big deal???

Geez, can you blame him? These f*ckwad writers drag him up and down the Charles River and then they expect him to be gracious? F*ck them.

I bet Belichick is as concerned about this "violation" as he is about his injury report violations . . . not very concerned.

Good for BB, hope he does it again.

It sure has been a weird offseason.. You gotta wonder what is going on in our organization. All the little details bring that question to my mind anyway.

LMFAO :

"They weren’t happy, and a complaint was filed by the Pro Football Writers of America. The league strives for 100 percent attendance, though it’s not mandatory — Cowboys head coach Bill Parcells traditionally skips the meetings altogether, with this year being no exception."

Stupid writers.

Apparently, the Pats have been on double-secret probation since September.

In related news, Polian proposed an 11th-hour rule change fining any coach who leaves early from this particular meeting one first round draft pick, to be randomly re-assigned to any team in the AFC South except Houston, Jacksonville, or Tennessee. "Riders" on this same rule change include:

* former super bowl kickers will kick off from mid-field when kicking against their former super bowl team;

* the team with the best regular-season record will get one "do over" in every playoff game;

* all post-season games will be played in dome stadiums;

* receivers who feel threatened by the set of a defense may use firearms, if they believe force may be used against them (the "make my day" rule.)

I don't have any documenatation for this but this guy that works the metro entrance told me this when I gave him a quarter. He enigmatically added "who scraped the 'J' off your forehead?" This may add further insight if deciphered.

There isn't one.

The only people that give a **** about this are the writers. If Tomase was reporting as opposed to searching desperately for a schtick to make his bones on, he might have mentioned whether or not this is the first meeting of this sort that Belichick has missed. I suspect its not. If John had been at all interested in adding that little detail, that might have saved a few people from laboring over (as they evidently have already; see above) the misconception that this is something related to the off-season, which is a theory so ridiculous that it should have come from Gary Tanguay or some other aging drama queen like that.

My post was actually sarcasm, but thank you for the Queen reference, my dress looks fantastic! Muah!

Next the Pats will be suspended for the 06 season for threat of winning another game against the Colts.

I refuse to believe that BB left in order to avoid meeting with the media! I would assume he is attending to team matters. As usual, this is the media making the story about themselves with BB starring as the villian!

Probably BB had plans to spend the day at Epcot so he couldn't go to the breakfast. You know -- Nero fiddles while Rome burns.

( You'll note that Hoodie had to take a break during the Adam debacle. My doctors advised it.)

Perhaps we should draft some type of a document in support of our coach...he has taken a beating this offseason???

One of the many remarkable things about our coach is that I think he accepts that criticsm is part of the job and is strong enough to take whatever comes his way.

I wish it were a trait I shared. The bashing he's been taking was killing me.

Am I the only one who wants them to take that grotesque photo down?

No offense Hoodie, but that is just plain nuts! You honestly think BB is Nero? Wasting time and screwing off while HIS team goes to hell around him? I don't understand how a man can go from Super Bowl winning, genius head coach to the villiage idiot because he did not re-sign a 33 year old kicker and a 34 year old linebacker......

Someone help me out here, my head is about to explode.....

Nut, I don't know how much more of this I can take! It's a world gone fricken mad! I have seen stuff like this from the fans in Cleveland, but I NEVER thought I would see the day when NE fans treated BB like this......
