It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Getting overly down on himself was a problem early in college that he overcame as a senior. However, it can't be ignored that his senior season was pretty much one highlight after another, he never had a game at Alabama like the one yesterday. Heck, he only threw 4 interceptions all of last year (against 40 TDs), he threw 3 yesterday alone, I'm not shocked he was disappointed in himself (I think that is why he had his head down, I think it was self-disappointment instead of being being beat up like some have interpreted). I do worry a bit about his confidence if he has a gigantic number of games like this one.Kinda like what Tom looked like after the MNF loss at KC in 2014.
Some players take losses extremely hard. Good.
Hopefully Mac learns from it.
All BB wanted to do was get the kid out of the situation.
Not sure he should have grabbed him by the hand but it was instinctual.
Whatever. A non-story.
The pose doesn’t look good…
Yes definitely. He has been around a long time and very successful at it. He knows when to use words of encouragement and when to ground a player.Uh does Belichick really seem like a positive reinforcement kind of guy to you?
oh jeebus.........stop reading into things
I thought Mac played his ass off yesterday.Getting overly down on himself was a problem early in college that he overcame as a senior. I guess I'm in a minority of one, but he showed some things yesterday that I didn't necessarily expect (because he never had that type of crappy line play and ineffective running game at Alabama) and many were positive. For one thing he pulled off some unscripted plays much better than I would have expected, both the two runs and he had some sidearm throws into the teeth of the defense that I wouldn't have necessarily expected from him. Plus near the end of the game he had a real fight and he never gave up, and being that far behind he took some risks that I wouldn't have necessarily expected. Do you think Aaron Rodgers would have thrown that last interception? No, partially because he is a far better QB at this stage but also because Rodgers doesn't want that type of desperation interception on his record. Mac was pulling out all the stops at the end of the game, to his credit IMHO.
(Showing film today of the Smith pick-6)I heard after the game Bill made Mac put his hands up on his desk then Bill proceeded to smack him on the knuckles with a ruler. Mac cried, Bill screamed, but then they hugged it out and cried together like the scene with Robin Williams and Matt Damon in Good Will Hunting.

Yea BB must be furious, he goes out and spends big money on two veteran free agent Tight Ends to fix a huge hole his piss poor drafting has left in that position... 2 veterans to come in and help your rookie QB out, and he pukes up all over himself.. dropped 4 balls, 1 leading directly to a pick 6Jonnu Smith and the run game(or lack thereof) would be top on my list of who to blame.
Welcome back TB12. The Patriots will always be my team but those years were a magical once in a lifetime ride.
Please fans give him the welcome he deserves....
So if the Patriots win Sunday we will have the same record as the Bucs?No and that's why 1/2 the board is extra miserable.

Agree on the interception idea. At this point, shouldn't a rookie QB be throwing some? What can I do? Will this pass work? What can I get away with? It's a balance, you don't want to throw 10 picks, but not throwing any isn't a badge of honor to me.Getting overly down on himself was a problem early in college that he overcame as a senior. I heard the fans booing on TV, what was that about and how often, loud?Mac was sitting on the sideline sulking for 5-10 minutes and then Winston came over. He had just gotten up and bill Was walking back to locker roo
After saying hello and hugging a saints coach. He didn’t specifically target Mac he just bumped into him and took him with him
