Big guys on the edge in Landry and White. If they fail and the QB escapes around the edge, the LBs in Spillane and Ellis are fast and can catch them.If Williams and Barmore play to their potential, we’re gonna have a lot of scrambling QB’s. Gonna need willing and speedy tacklers. Think we have that. Gonna be a long pre season waiting for week one. The excitement is real.

We will be attacked by backs and tight ends with that kind of strategy.Williams and Barmore push the middle, QBs escape to the edge. Big guys on the edge in Landry and White. If they fail and the QB escapes around the edge, the LBs in Spillane and Ellis are fast and can catch them.
Yeah that is a bit of a concern with slightly smaller LBs but at the same time, Williams and Barmore aren't exactly small and can stop the run decently well, and Spillane is a decent run stopper also. They can also sub in guys like Tonga or (gulp) Tavai if a team is particularly run-heavy.We will be attacked by backs and tight ends with that kind of strategy.
But that is exciting.
He never should have been cleared last year... there was no real reason to bring him back... glad hes had the time to fully recoverI am cautiously optimistic. He was cleared for return to play last year too but that didn’t work out. He’s a difference maker for sure.
