I'm all for calling out the refs if they suck, but the NFL sent out a memo about this earlier in the season. Shouldn't the Fuhrer being handing down a punishment on the Ravens' scumbag organization right about now?

Since the NFL rules apply to everyone and are enforced evenly (according to Goodell), the Ravens should be looking at a 6 figure fine, at least, by the end of the week. The league may want to individually fine Harbaugh and some players, as well. This would definitely happen if, for example, an NBA coach or owner publicly complained about the officiating.

In the NFL, where the commissioner makes it up as he goes, I give it a 5% chance any fines are assessed.

And here I thought I might have to write a "I'm pleasantly surprised, I didn't expect any fine at all" post.

If this scenario played out in a sport I didn't follow at all, like Australian rugby league or a pro cricket league, and someone tried to explain it, I'd think they were making it up.
