AVP didn't know Marcus Jones played offense until recently

None of the frigging people who have been here and watched Marcus Jones make plays on offense brought that up???

Well in a way it's sorta consistant. They don't communicate well to the press or public why should we expect they communicate well with each other?

I thought a PatsFans poster entering into NFL coaching was crazy, but since we are one step ahead of the present Pats management team, I am going to have to reconsider. Let's see who around these parts would be a good fit?

I realize I might be one of the folks that spring to mind but you should cross me off the list.
It may come as a shock to you but I don't always work and play well with others Surprising, I know, but true nonetheless

Out of touch.

How does the offensive coordinator not know how his team scored the past few seasons.

Meanwhile, Bill could tell you that marcus ran for 206 yards 15 years ago in pop Warner, and the wind was at his face 75% of the time at 32mph.
I can't imagine how this story could be true. But I think it is. Unbelievable.

Go for it Maust

I already started yours. That's how I roll, friends first.
You should know in your honor I went higher on the shelf too. Nothing too good for my man Ivan.

You hitting the juice a little early this evening Ivan?

Family, I believe that organizations need stability to be successful. And I believe a GM should be given 3-5 years to turn a losing franchise. I think Wolf was right to stay out of that free agent market, and I said so at the time. I believed that Wolf should ignore all the noise from fans about “ taking the haul,” and trading the pick, or moving back and taking McCarthy etc.., and I wanted him to stay put and take Maye or Daniel’s, and I argued for months with posters here about it. I expected them to have a bad year, and I’m willing to take that and put much higher expectations on him for this years offseason. So Wolf has done everything I wanted him to do, and I believe he’s got the same pedigree Belichick had, and getting a good young GM is really tough to do, so I want them to stick with him.

**** that. Wolf is doing a good job turning this franchise around, and expecting miracles from him in less than a year is total ********.

How on earth can you think that?

Off-season signings:

Brissett, Okorafor, Thornton, Gibson, Watts, Takitaki, Leverett, Hawkins, Hooper.

Of those, only Hooper has been a success.

It's hard to rate a draft in the first season, but by game 11 rookies should have shown something.

Draft picks: Maye, Polk, Wallace, Robinson, Baker, Dial, Milton, Bell

Only Maye has come through so far. Is drafting him enough to show that "Wolf is doing a good job"? Of course not. Maye was the only one of the top-rated quarterbacks left on the board and Wolf picked him. That's as smart as buying a Rolex watch.

So please: fewer obscenities and more evidence-based judgement.

Huh? Are you serious? What exactly has he done well? Besides picking the guy everyone would have at 3?

The position comes with a compensation package that includes a lifetime supply of Blanton's Black Label.

He should be too embarrassed to say that out loud. That is pure incompetence. You would think he would have watched the last several years of the offense to help evaluate the talent and figure out what they do well and don't.

To those trying to pin this on Mayo, he is not a kindergarten teacher.

I believe in stability too, and agree he was smart not to spend IMO this year (really lucky because he threw a boatload at two WRs) .

BUT this year's draft is not good even if two players eventually work out, and the signings he did have sucked.

I want an innovative coach like Ben Johnson for Drake. Wolf seems like a Bill type guy who brings in different type of players.

He's the perfect GM for a Mayo.
