Brady > Ted Williams. How many championships did Ted Williams bring us? The guy was also a huge prick

Wow, Wow, Wow........................(you really didn't think I would let this pass)

Ted Williams would own every single MLB record if he did not stop his career TWICE, to go to war for his country. He lost five seasons to war. The guy fought so that fifty years later, you can sit in safety in your mother''s basement tooling around on message boards and call him a prick. Williams hated the press, who doesn't. Williams did not play for a Robert Kraft owned team, I'm sure if he did, the story might have been different. Next time you go to Fenway, take a peek at that red seat in right field, now figure that he did that with the old mush ball and an inferior bat, and still, NO ONE has come close to it.

Brady is right behind Montana in the all time great department. He still has time to get to the top. Comparing Brady to Williams is apples to oranges, because clearly a QB can control alot more of his team's fate than a left fielder can.

next time you go to fenway look for this:

the partnership ted williams and the sox had with the jimmy fund/dana farber is the reason he legacy can never be topped. the example they set for philanthropy in professional sports was followed by everyone.

next time you are at gillette, look at the name on their practice bubble.

Baseball? Basketball?

Philanthropy?

Really?

Look people. 4 down, 11-man, 100-yard football is the one sport that matters. Anywhere. Ever.

"Sox are in the World series, but the Pats have a meaningless early-season game on the other channel? CHANGE IT!!!"

Why am I even in this thread?

Just wait until he retires.

People will have an entirely new awareness of what QBing is like in the NFL.

Hey!!! Our new QB reminds me of Hugh Millen!!! Hey guys????...guys?????...(where'd everyone go??????)

Are you a teenager?

Russell, Orr and Williams say hi.

I don't watch hockey, so I have a lack of knowledge on Orr. Maybe his accomplishments are strong, but it would be pointless to debate it. Brady is already a top 5 QB of all time in my eyes and will most likely be the best of all time by the time he retires. If you're the best QB that's ever played or amongst the top 3 ever, Brady could rival any one of those guys.

>>It’d be tough to be much better than Tom Brady was on Sunday night.<<

I'm a serious Brady fan, however, the above statement is absurd. While it would be extremely tough to be better than Brady was in the last quarter and a half of Sunday evening's game, the first half of the game was a mediocre performance.

That isn't being a detractor, that's just actually watching what was happening.

I am still wary and worried about all the hype saying that NE is a near certainty to win all the remainder of their games and likely to win the top spot in the AFC

Stuff like this almost always backfires from the expectations

Let's hope we don't drop an expected win along the way and hope the players don't get complacent with all the talk of an easy road to the playoffs.

Nothing is ever as easy as it seems.
