“I would love it,” he said, speaking of the 31-year-old former Jets cornerback, who just had criminal charges dismissed in relation to an altercation on a Pittsburgh street last month. “Speaking for myself, if he wanted to come back, he’s a great competitor, I’d welcome him if he wanted to come.”

Revis, of course, played for the Patriots during their 2014 Super Bowl winning season, then left as a free agent, signing a lucrative contract with the Jets. Last season, he played poorly, getting beaten often. He claims he’s lost 10 pounds and is committed to performing better this season.

Asked if there’s been any contact between the two sides, Kraft winked and smiled.

“Ask my boy,” Kraft told the Daily News, referring to Belichick.

I love this. Whether it is a faint towards Butler's agent or genuine gush for Darrelle Revis, I'm onboard.
