Pretty cool to see this. Apparently he was desired by the Raiders to be their OC, and he turned them down to stay in NE.

That’s a pretty strong statement about his evaluation of the team and the franchise.

Passing up OC to remain QB coach also says a lot to answer those who argue that every coach wants to climb the career ladder at every opportunity.

And I’d bet that the Raiders wouldn’t consider him as OC without a favorable endorsement by TB12. So that too says a lot.

10000 percent. This is almost a no brainer for just about every coach. I mean going from QB coach to OC is a bit daunting for sure.

This is awesome... he knows what Drake is and knows his best chance to win and continue to further his coaching career is in NE..

And he knows what it’s like to be working for and with Vrabes and Josh. And Bob and Jon.

It's also not mentioned much.. but Brady is a minority owner just as Seymour is as well for the LVRs.. why don't we ever hear much from Seymour like we do Brady? I mean he is a HOFmer..

We've lost 1 coach this year? the asst OL coach there, whatshisface

With all the complaints about Josh‘s game planning in SB…..

Til first rumor that he only stuck around cause Vrabes promised him Josh‘s job after whenever he tires of & fires him

(Or did I just accidentally start that. Ooops )

Absolutely agree.. he knows that LV team will be looking for another HC in a season or 2 as well..

Kubiak seems like a leftover desperation hire, very uninspired.

Whats rude about not remembering a name?
How about just lazy then…

One could potentially go to Patriots.com and look at the coaches list before posting…..theoretically ….. if you cared….

So, Houghtaling or Kugler??

3 OLCoaches and not one of them could tell Wilson not to stare his man down. Jeeesh, hope they let the right (bad) one go. Haha

Being OC there might give him the inside track when that happens…

Or maybe that’s a good argument against being their OC?

Crazy ain't it.

First, it was the Grammar Police and you said nothing.

Now it's the Non-Specific Name So You're Rude But You Copped to Lazy Police and you said nothing.

Next it will be You Can't Blame Pappy Van Winkle or Gravity For All Your Problems Police and then where will you be?

It's Dystopian.

Eh, ive been called worse than rude or lazy... sometimes its earned, sometimes its not...

At this point of my life it all falls under the category of I'd rather have you hate me for who I am than have you like me for who you think I am...
