10000 percent. This is almost a no brainer for just about every coach. I mean going from QB coach to OC is a bit daunting for sure. That’s a pretty strong statement about his evaluation of the team and the franchise.
Passing up OC to remain QB coach also says a lot to answer those who argue that every coach wants to climb the career ladder at every opportunity.
And I’d bet that the Raiders wouldn’t consider him as OC without a favorable endorsement by TB12. So that too says a lot.

And he knows what it’s like to be working for and with Vrabes and Josh. And Bob and Jon.This is awesome... he knows what Drake is and knows his best chance to win and continue to further his coaching career is in NE..
Absolutely agree.. he knows that LV team will be looking for another HC in a season or 2 as well..And he knows what it’s like to be working for and with Vrabes and Josh. And Bob and Jon.
It's also not mentioned much.. but Brady is a minority owner just as Seymour is as well for the LVRs.. why don't we ever hear much from Seymour like we do Brady? I mean he is a HOFmer..That’s a pretty strong statement about his evaluation of the team and the franchise.

Lazy works for me.How about just lazy then…
One could potentially go to Patriots.com and look at the coaches list before posting…..theoretically ….. if you cared….
So, Houghtaling or Kugler??
3 OLCoaches and not one of them could tell Wilson not to stare his man down. Jeeesh, hope they let the right (bad) one go. Haha
Crazy ain't it.Lazy works for me.
Kugler went to Steelers to be Tight Ends coachOne could potentially go to Patriots.com and look at the coaches list before posting…..theoretically ….. if you cared….

First, it was the Grammar Police and you said nothing.
Now it's the Non-Specific Name So You're Rude But You Copped to Lazy Police and you said nothing.
Next it will be You Can't Blame Pappy Van Winkle or Gravity For All Your Problems Police and then where will you be?
It's Dystopian.
