Article: Brady is the most overrated QB of this generation

Got to love that click bait. Why would you even give them hits?

I don't usually post when I put a thread on ignore, but I thought this was a worthy exception. Why even link to this nonsense?

"Serenity now!!!" o_O

Just something to laugh at or discuss if you're inclined.

I still don't get the Matt Cassel argument to "prove" Brady is overrated. Cassel did a nice job for sure but the bottom line is he had a 16-0 team with 16-0 talent around him, won 5 fewer games and missed the playoffs because they couldn't beat any good teams.

If Brady is good because of the system, what is he system that makes him good? Hurry up? Ground and Pound? Run n Gun? West Coast? Spread? Advanced receiver route trees and quick audibles? I don't know how I'd describe the Patriots' offense over the years.

McDaniels certainly plays Brady in the spread, out of the shotgun, and abandons the run a lot. I wouldn't feel comfortable running a system that requires the QB to throw 30-40 times a game if our QB is some pedestrian.
