Armand Membou at 4

Now that we have M-Mo, let's draft Belton or Trapilo in the 3rd.

I think the decision at LT is between Wallace and Simmons.
Who’s Wallace
Do you mean Campbell

That is reasonable.

Agreed.

Which two tackles are you referring to?

Not a big difference. 9.82 for Membou and 9.88 for Campbell. 0.06 is not significant - basically both are the same. I like Membou's bench press because I like a mauler in the run game, but a difference of 0.06 is basically equal.
and a Bench Press with longer arms is more difficult.

Wallace should not be in any LT discussion.

Caeden Wallace was LT2 to Fashanu being LT1. Wallace spent years taking LT2 snaps in practice while also taking snaps as RT1. Just because Fashanu was healthy and Wallace wasn't pressed into service there doesn't me he didn't get a lot of work.

If you base things on the very MINIMAL amount of information from last year, that's silly. Especially with the way that the Coaching staff bounced the O-line around.

There isn't a shred of anything to suggest he can play LT in the NFL. He didn't play a snap in college at LT, many thought he might move to guard in the league, and he was a disaster as a rookie.

Im hopeful he could develop into a starting RT. But theres just nothing out there to suggest he could be a LT.

This is gonna have to deserve its own discussion. Seeing multiple post combine mocks placing him at 4 to us.

He does have the size we’ve been complaining about Campbell lacking.

Ugh, I would not be happy with Membou. I watched some highlights, and he was blatantly holding on every play. Hands like glue--good in a WR but not an OLman. Yecch. He might be an OK third round pick...
.
I would love to hear an interview with Dante Scarnecchia on the LT prospects.

I know it will be an unpopular opinion but assuming Hunter and Carter are gone Membou is my pick at 4.

I just can't see Campbell making the grade at LT with those measurables but i believe Membou can make the switch and if it turns out he cant he can switch to RT as Moses possibly retires in a year or 2.

Membou looks to be the more athletically gifted and can probably transition to LT without a lot of trouble.
Others seem to disagree. He's a good athlete for sure. But Duke Manyweather, who worked with Campbell and Membou, and cross trains them at different positions, says Membou is a RT. And has Campbell ahead of him. Mike Tice also thinks he struggles with speed at RT and should stay there.

You never know what a coach can unlock. If the Patriots think he can be an LT with the valuation of Marrone, then I'm on board. But in my opinion, moving Membou to LT is not the move to make. At least if you're deciding between him and Campbell. Campbell is the LT between the two, IMO.

Beats the mother-****ing DOGSHIT outta Stumpy at #4.
