Sure, let me try. Hell has no fury like a woman scorned! Bridget did not get the Brady name so neither will her/their child. She exploited her pregnancy to get her picture taken and get on E! every now and then - good move since her acting has not worked out too well for her. And now she is using the baby to get back at Tom for not loving her enough to marry her and then have the gaul to move on and upward with Gisele 'freakin' Bunchen! So, she kinda sorta but not really gave the baby some of his name but reversed it purposely to have the initials J E T !!!!

She knows alot about initials since hers are BM - guess we don't need an explanation for that one!

I keep waiting for you to grow up Drew... Don't you get that you sound like a hysterical 16 year old girl passionately defending the teen idol who doesn't know she exists?

Tom and Bridget are adults who seem to be getting along just fine. Neither has had an unkind word to say about the other. Otherwise he would not only not have been there for his son's birth, he certainly would not have returned within 24 hours to continue bonding with him. Even the Bundchen doesn't seem terribly bothered by all of this. What was it Gis said, if you love someone you love everything about them. Tommy has a son, Bridget is his son's mother. When you disrespect her you might as well disrespect Tom and his baby son.

Sadly the only people still struggling with this are a small but unfortunately vocal and remarkably thoughtless/immature segment of our own Patriots fan base who seem to think Tommy wants or needs their lame attempts at his defense. Grow up and get over yourselves.

PS - one of Tom's two sisters who also had a child without benefit of marriage has recently married that child's father six years after the fact. So you never know just who you might be trashing...

A child always takes the name of his father, unless the father is unknown.

Don't know how to say this without being thrashed.......but if I were a single mom, I may have done the same thing. I have friends who have done this so that the child's last name matches their own. No offense to Tom, but there are a lot of fathers out there who do not stick around, but in this case it sounds spiteful to me. She knew the baby was due in August, if she really wanted Tom to be a part of the baby's life she would have moved out here. I have to think Tom knew about this ahead of time and he does not strike me as a man who would just roll over and accept this willingly. I felt bad that he left her when she was pregnant, but now I am starting to think she has revealed her true colors.

I felt bad that he left her when she was pregnant, but now I am starting to think she has revealed her true colors.

Thats a false statement. When the broke up they didn't know she was pregnant. I am sure she knew it was a strong possibility, but the timing is pretty clear in having him blindsided after the breakup. They broke up, by her publisits release, the week of Thanksgiving 2006 -she had the baby Aug. 22. That makes it pretty clear that he didn't 'leave' her when she was pregnant or knowing about it anyway.

I am sure she knew it was a strong possibility, but the timing is pretty clear in having him blindsided after the breakup. They broke up, by her publisits release, the week of Thanksgiving 2006 -she had the baby Aug. 22. That makes it pretty clear that he didn't 'leave' her when she was pregnant or knowing about it anyway.

I know they did not know about the baby when they broke up.....that is not what I meant. He left her alone while she was pregnant and sort of ignored her while he partied with the new gf. Not passing jugement, but its hard enough going through a pregnancy alone, harder still to go through such a public pregnancy, he could have been a bit more supportive.....but like I said, she is showing her true colors, so I feel like she made her own bed.

My point is the same, I think she is screwing with him on purpose and will use that child as a pawn for as long as he lets her get away with it. Tom has a lot of class and I can't imagine this is easy for him.

And btw, some people know they are pregnant anywhere from a few days to a few weeks after it happened. So if they broke up at Thanksgiving- which has been the rumor, its possible she knew in early December...also its possible the baby was late. My brother and I were both born two weeks after our "due dates," so who knows about the timeline.
