Hearing people say Garopollo plays most of game 3 but, won't Brady need his reps too? Perhaps he gets a good chunk of game 4 but, that would mean they need the first unit line to play too. Very unique situation we're in, wonder what the Steelers did when Big Ben got suspended.
I'd assume JG starts 3 and plays quite a bit, Brady will get Arun in game 4 with the starting oline. Not too much competition left on the line, anyways, so get him practice and keep him safe.
BB hasn't been asking my advice lately, but I don't see much point in having Brady play at all in the preseason. He's got 4-5 weeks to lose whatever rhythm he's developed with people who are hopefully not his receivers come week five (e.g., Gronk, JE11, Amendola may not be playing in preseason)
Game 4
Brady but if Jimmy needs some reps then he might play a series. If so then Tom gets 2-3 series w/ starters.
Biscuit gets the rest. Maybe throw Derby back there for a few
He will start Brady for the first series and let him have 1. He will start him for the 2nd one and then yank him for Jimmy midway through. Then he will at some point in the 2nd pull Jimmy and throw in Brissett for 3-4 plays then put in jimmy until the mid 3rd then Brissett the rest of the way.
Game 4? Half Jimmy half Brissett no Brady unless he comes out for a few plays in the opening.
No, he really doesn't like that touchey feely internet stuff.
But he did ask me where he can download "Hoomanawanui Go" from the Apple Store. Apapently he thinks his ex player made an app and wanted to show some support.

I assume Brady will get some reps, probably the first quarter of the next game if I had to guess.
But FWIW, I'm more concerned with Brissett getting as many reps as he can, since we're one hit away from him starting multiple games. I think he has a lot more to gain from a couple dozen preseason snap than Brady does, given that Brady's going to be sitting for 4 weeks anyway. To whatever extent a quarter of preseason play might get Brady prepared for the season, that effect will probably be gone by the time his suspension ends.
