I'm not going to continue a back and forth about this. It's a waste of energy. They let him practice. Even in purely mercenary terms, that means that they risked being on the hook in case of an injury. I'm sure someone can think of some exception to the common sense rule, and it's theoretically possible that an exception happened here, but the common sense rule is that you don't do that if you know you're cutting the guy.
So, anything that lines up as "'Found/decided' a/k/a developed after practice" fits the puzzle. Anything from before that? Not so much.
You've never admitted you were wrong on this board. I knew you weren't going to admit it today. Belichick hedged when asked and he flitted his eyes looking for something to say, because he knew he was being cut, and the best he could come up with was, "He's STILL on the roster."
Just admit you were wrong about this one.
