Why would the Giants do that trade?
Because they would be trading a top 3 receiver for a top 3 receiver. However that is predicated on the premise that the Giants actually want to move on from OBJ, which is still unclear.

Why would the Giants do that trade?
Antonio Brown was a 6th round pick.
For anyone that believes that the Steelers wont find a good WR to replace Brown via the draft guess again. If youre half as good as Brown youre still good.
Brown was pixxed off because JuJu blew up last season and is every bit of a stud that Brown is. Trade the cancer and Bell can go on too. The Pats would do the same with Bell wanting crazy money. The only mistake Pitt made was not dealing Bell last season.
He’s very good and he’s the only receiver that even has a chance to match Rice’s records if he can have a long career at this pace. That said, I don’t value WR’s a whole hell of a lotI'm not sure people appreciate how good Antonio Brown is.
This is some lose lose deal. The only winner is Brown's bank account (guarantees). He himself might never play a meaningful game again and OAK “patient“ rebuild (10y Gruden contract) and “change of culture“ officially ended. By the time they fix their lines, Brown will be but a memory, taking away 10% of the cap each “rebuild“ year.
Vegas will like this and it seems this is all that matters about the team to the owners at this point..
Average production over SIX yearsI'm not sure people appreciate how good Antonio Brown is.
Yes. If juju produces without brown like he did with brown I’ll be surprised. We’re gonna find out about JuJu next season. Is he elite (he should be lined up against opposing teams top cornerbacks) or was he a product of defenses having to account for brown?
It will be interesting to see how much of AB's success is attributable to Big Ben & the rest of the Steelers' O.Average production over SIX years
114/1524/11
Sick numbers. But I bet he never has a year with the raiders that reaches that average, for a number of reasons.
He’s done it for so long it’s hard to consider him a product of the system or teammates, IMO.It will be interesting to see how much of AB's success is attributable to Big Ben & the rest of the Steelers' O.
I didn't know that Sh!tsdirt even had a "way."This fanchise has lost their way.
Nah, he usually isn't.Chatham uses a useless data point in order to make a non-point. He's usually better than that.
Don't we do the same thing? ' a Patriot's first round pick is almost a second '
