I see that now and I agree with you.I was responding to takes regarding the Mack or Brown question.
Odd indeed. Is it just me or isn’t increasing his contract and making $30kk guaranteed kind of crazy?
They had no leverage.Ha ha ha ha ha
I assumed they would get at least one of Oakland’s first round picks. The Stealers got hosed big time.
I have awaken this fine March morning here in South Western PA. to glorious salt! The anger, and salty tears are "boomin"! What a great day!
They had no leverage.
I don't think OBJ is still on the block. My read on that was the Giants entertained the idea of trading him before they locked him up long term. They instead gave him the big contract and I assume have no plans on trading him now.I think they completely misplayed it. They could have created more bidding but they wanted to dictate the landing area. I’m not sure why they didn’t contact the Giants about swapping Brown for OBJ?
Agree. Brown *****ing about BUF didn't help either. They should have had more teams.I think they completely misplayed it. They could have created more bidding but they wanted to dictate the landing area. I’m not sure why they didn’t contact the Giants about swapping Brown for OBJ?
Oakland, where star receivers go to fade into obscurity...
Odd indeed.
This fanchise has lost their way.
I'm not debating the acquisition. It depends on the Raider rebuilding plan. You have to have some winning now and in three years that money becomes available to help sign the guys drafted this year...........if they hit on those picks.
Having everyone on a rookie contract is not good. People should notice how BB works rookies/ prime/ end of career players into a roster that never gets into cap hell.
Frankly, the Raiders have too many picks. Would not be suprised to see them trade a #1 for more picks this year in a deep defense draft............or trade to get into 2021.
It's a cultural thing in Pittsburgh. Until Tomlin is gone, and Rooney grows a set it will continue to be a never ending cycle of a melodramatic circus. The same people said the same thing about the Eagles when Chip Kelly dumped "Shady" and "DJax".
Ya can't win with meatheads.....if you could, Pittsburgh might have done something besides getting humiliated in the 2016 AFCCG.
Their offensive line is intact. I bet they could replicate our 2018 offense in relative short order and they will not have the meatheads (except Rufusburger) around anymore.
Their ability to rebuild the defense will be key and it's a deep defense draft.
