https://operations.nfl.com/media/2683/2017-nfl-injury-report-policy.pdf

The supplemental entry "Not Injury Related" applies to situations in which a player is withheld from his normal repetitions for reasons other than injury. Examples include: resting veteran players, team discipline, jury duty, illness in family, personal matter, etc. In these cases, the club must explain specifically – on its own participation release issued to the media – why the player missed or was limited in practice. Use of this category is prohibited if the player in question has an injury that is otherwise reportable under the policy. An injured player cannot be listed as a "resting veteran."

The information must be credible, accurate, timely, and specific within the guidelines of the policy, which is of paramount importance in maintaining the integrity of the game.

A violation of the policy may result in Commissioner discipline, which may include a fine on the involved club, fines or suspensions of involved individuals, as well as the possible forfeiture of draft choices by the involved club.

Dock them a first and fourth rd pick!!!

Come on Kraft demand this!!!

So for days the Steelers LIED to the league and put a player on the injury report falsely. I wonder how many gamblers had the real scoop that the Steelers fully intended to not play him? This is a much bigger violation than air pressure in footballs.

In all seriousness, Kraft should come out and demand a full Investigation that should result in the Steelers losing at a minimum a first and fourth ruound picks in the upcom8ng draft, plus of course a multi million dollar fine and at least a four game suspension for Tomlin.

Peyton got suspended for a year for bountygate, this is a more egregious violation than that.

This is a serious issue, if you have ever seen the movie Casino, that was based on real life, and mobsters would pay for this kind of insider info. The NFL should examine the betting lines on this game and see who put down large bets on the Bengals.

No way that’s happening. Gambling is the NFL’s third rail and Achilles heel. Years ago I had a case against the NFL and used gambling effectively to defend my client.

I meant throwing furniture out the window. He caught 110 ten balls or more, what does he want? Team voted Ju ju the mvp, probably just to piss him off.

I should have said Brown sharing the spotlight with JuJu.

IIRC, something happened after the KC game that had Brown fighting with the GM about a trade. Brown had a bad game and JuJu kinda broke out even though Pitt lost. I had JuJu on my fantasy so Ive watched him close all year.

JuJus workload nearly doubled in 2018
2017 - 7 starts -58 receptions - 917 yards - 7 TDs
2018 - 13 starts - 111 receptions - 1426 yards - 7 TDs

2017
JuJu 7 starts -58 receptions - 917 yards - 7 TDs
Brown 14 starts - 101 receptions - 1533 yards - 9 TDs

A Pittsburgh offense in 2019 minus brown too? We may get to see Ben’s cliff sooner than expected.
Ron Cook: Steelers complete possibly the worst collapse in franchise history

To me it starts with the fact they could not sign Bell during the off season and then let him sit around and become a malcontent. They should have traded him to the worst team they could find for a bag of footballs and told the team they weren't gonna put up with selfish drama queens. I can't see how they're gonna turn things around unless they fire Tomlin and bring in a disciplinarian.

Gase would be my first pick but he should be a head coach hes a tough guy who wouldnt bow to any player.
Not saying Josh isnt.
I want Josh cause Tom wants Josh I wouldnt be devstated if Gase sees it as a way to get the reigns in New Engkand down the road if Josh doesnt want to wait.
Zac Taylor or I like Deflippo as well.
Please no to promoting a O coach here.

With all the cases of Patriot players conveniently coming down with the Foxboro Flu over the years I really don’t think fans should want to go down the road of *****ing about the Steelers messing around with the injury report.

The foxboro flu is a myth

I live about 90 miles east of Pittsburgh and my wife is a Steelers fan. Basically she thinks they should get rid of him. It’s extremely, and I can’t stress it enough, extremely anti-Tomlin out here. All of my co-workers can’t stand him, neither can my wife or father in-law.
