And a testament to not only how the Patriots defense has really stiffened up lately, but how the red zone D has gone through a drastic improvement.

7 games (KC, NYJ, BUF, TB, NYJ, MIA, JAX).

2 first-half touchdowns given up by the defense. (Ricky Williams' 2 yard run, Larry Johnson's 1 yd. run).

November 27th, @ KC - The Chiefs would march down the field on their 1st drive and bang it in with Larry Johnson, but the Pats would hold the Chiefs to 4 2nd quarter field goals to keep the comeback alive until late in the game.

December 4th, vs. NYJ - Jets only score of the entire game came on a Mike Nugent FG with 1:01 left in the 2nd quarter.

December 11th, @ Buf - Bills only score of the entire game came on a Josh Reed TD with 2:14 left in the 4th quarter and many Patriots backups in there.

December 17th, vs. TB - The Patriots did not allow Tampa Bay to score.

December 26th, @ NYJ - Brady did throw the pick to Law for the TD, the Jets only score until 2 Coles TDs in the 4th quarter.

January 1st, vs. MIA - Ricky Williams would bang it in for a TD with 3:59 left in the 1st quarter. However, the Pats would hold the Dolphins to 2 FGs in the 2nd quarter, setting up the Patriots backups for the comeback that did happen but fell short.

January 7th, vs JAX - The Patriots would only allow 1 Jacksonville score, a Scobee FG with 1:05 left in the 2nd quarter.

It should be noted that in this game the PATS could have had another victory vs. Miami however it was evident that Bellichick made the decision to purposely LOSE when he saw KC was crushing CINCY. Therefore he purposely threw the game tying two point conversion to a fan in the stands so the PATS would play JAX instead of PIT. Otherwise he is a great coach. Had you won that game, your season would have been over vs. PIT last Saturday night. You do not want us on the road. Please beat DENVER for us. Redemption will be here soon.

Ah ha, so you were the Steeler low-life who called into WEEI this afternoon, just before 3, disguised as an old lady.

"The Patriots tanked this game! They are arrogant and boastful! They come out there thinking they have the right to win! They tanked to the game for they wouldn't play the Steelers!"

Funny what some helium can do. It's 75-year old Mary, who quit being a Pats fan years ago after she didn't like their "attitude!"

Pats V. Pitt would be a blowout in our favor. There is no question. 87 year old Jerome Bettis, while aloong with Hines Ward is one of the classiest players in the league, wouldn't gain 10 yards and Parker did NOTHING vs. us last time, and Big Ben remains the second most overrated QB in the laegue (behind Vick)

It's gonna be the toughest test yet this week but damn that is impressive.

Do you say this about Ben because all he does is win. No quarterback in NFL history has a better record than him after less than two full NFL seasons.

I agree with you on Vick though.

No I said it because IMO without that running game he wins 0 games

What does he average, 18 throws a game? If you think those wins were because of him you are sadly mistaken.
