In a sense, this is somewhat irrelevant. Personally, I don't see a reason to try to stash two of our WR;s on IR for a month. Of course, if one of our 53 is injured and we want to keep him, he will be put on IR. That isn't special to WR's.
If one or two of our IR's are PUP eligible that is a different thing entirely. Given our WR corps, any such player should indeed be put on IR (at the cut or one the next day, no matter).

In any case, we basically have a final 51. Players in the last couple of spots (at any position) end up being cut or put on IR so that new players can be added.
