The number of rushes will also likely be increased this season with our secondary being much more in place from the get-go + the ability to play more man coverage. I don't think anyone is saying that their responsibilities are the same, only that it's a good thing that Mayo has reached the same kind of success when rushing the passer in much more limited opportunities. Obviously we all know that they are two different players with different responsibilities. The bottom line is that Mayo seems to be getting more opportunities to rush the passer, and has been showing more signs of being a playmaker. That may increase even more this season.
