The key is protection. If our O-line can dominate it will be a fairly easy game. Get Sony going early, and open up the PA to Gronk.

We will win, if we can keep Brady clean and out of “happy feet” more.

We need the o line and Michel to have a great ground game!

Should be a very great game! Baltimore exposed a lot of glaring weaknesses in the Chargers defense late in the 4th quarter! I'm expecting a grind it out barn burner type of game! If Brady and company protects the football I expect them to win by at least a touchdown!

Chargers have a nice balance.

Chargers O - Good vet QB. Really good WR’s. Great RB if healthy. We have to stop the run and get Rivers in 3rd and long. Rivers is very accurate but he will take chances. Ravens did a good job getting to Rivers and forcing the ball out early. We don’t have the rush they do so we may have to bring extra pressure to get to Rivers.

Chargers D - they got stud pass rushers with Bosa and Ingram. We gotta establish the run to set up the play action pass. Also mix in the up tempo O to get their D tired.

A tough matchup but this is the playoffs. This year there is no easy outs.

27 - 20 Pats

Rivers has never won against Brady. That's not going to change next week.
The superstitious part of me kind of hates that aspect of it to be honest...no such thing as due though...

In any other NFL era the narrative of this game would be can Old Man Rivers find a way to continue his Super Bowl quest. Instead he is inexperienced playoff QB going against the GOAT.

Fun fact: The Chargers are 6-4 in the state of California and 7-0 outside the state of California.

This is not necessarily the game we wanted...

But it is the one I expected. It would have been more enjoyable psychologically to see the Pats sending the ratbirds packing but as fans we will get a more entertaining game out of the Chargers. Outside of Spanos there's not a lot to dislike about this Chargers team, there's no Merriman or Tomlinson types on that roster to despise
