If this is true and Mayo wants to coach again at some point then this is either a really bad idea either on his part or he got some bad advice. He’s getting paid anyway for a job that he wasn’t qualified for and it showed.

Tbh I don't really care about this. Mayo was a bad coach so he deserved to be fired. That said, if him and Kraft had some negotiation that Kraft was dumb enough not to live up to, he should own that. Let it be transparent and let the facts come out in a legal process.

Anyways I think Mayo is completely done with any chance of ever becoming a HC. You don't really get to fail that bad and get a second chance unless you have a strong pedigree like McDaniels did of constantly leading top tier units. He would probably need 5 years as a top shelf DC to do that.

No source links. Who is this guy anyway?

I’m sure Kraft’s lawyers are prepared. It may be the case that Kraft violated some element of the contract, but having worked directly for an ultra wealthy person at one point in my career, I can assure you that Kraft doesn’t mind being sued over this. The facts will not come out, unless Kraft decides to litigate. A settlement is more likely.

Mayo’s chances at another HC gig were already doomed after his terrible year and toxic exit. If he sues, I guess he wants to put a Chernobyl style sarcophagus over his chances. No owner wants a headache like him.

whats he gonna sue him for? Not giving him "three years" to figure out how to be a head coach?

any damage done to his reputation was done by himself in taking a job he knew we wasn't prepared for...

Hope he does sue... and when Kraft wins, Mayo is forced to pay his legal bills...

Unless Mayo has hard proof of some wrongdoing, this seems like a pretty bad/costly move both monetarily and future employment wise. Whatever he has better be concrete or Kraft and his expensive ass legal team will bury him and other owners will never consider him for anything in the future

Dakota in Braintree ; some guy said or my brother in law heard someone say in a bar he hangs around in??

I have a bridge in Brooklyn if anyone is interested

Right... so mayo gets a HC job by contractually agreeing. Gets fired because he couldn't do the job and now he sues.. LMAO.
