Boutte is just another on the list of ‘produced well ahead of my expectations”. He’s been what some posters have said he could be for years…

Here’s the original, full-screen shot instead of the version cropped for phones:

Full disclosure, I’ve watched this at least 50 times today

This perfect music choice elevates it even more! I think I will stop at 5 times.

So you know the name of the camera operator? There's a growing number of women doing the job.
Seriously... Do not understand how you can see this insanely beautiful piece of Patriots visual history and instead focus on a neutrally gendered cinematography descriptor.

I think these are AI assisted cameras, they train it to track the football like how your home camera can track movement. Beautiful shot.

The folks at NFL films are the pinnacle of video/film photography.

Comments:

1.) Watched that at least 100 times already on various of platforms. And there is a shaky video from the other end…cool seeing post-TD reactions from the OL/DL-men….

2.) Great throw, greater catch, and the GOAT CAMERMAN!!! (Or woman…whoever it was!)

I like Brady's first TD pass for the historic beginning of his Super Bowl greatness but from a cinematic point of view there is no football highlight more beautiful than this shot. The terrible weather, the balls flawless spiral, the bright lights washing out the picture making it look like the ball is falling down from heaven, and Boutte making one of the greatest looking catches of all time. It doesn't get better than that. Very fitting music to go with it. Flawless.

I was gushing over this clip to my wife yesterday and said basically all of the same things. She told me to keep it in my pants.
