No one is trying to say AV isn't awesome and deserve tons of credit for what he has accomplished. I think I speak for all of us when I say we haved loved watching him and appreciated what he is done. That does not mean, however, that we should just smile and waive as he turns his back, leaving us in the dust for our most hated rival as he chases after the almighty $$$$.

Absolutley, part of me will always be a fan of AV for all that he did for us. On the other hand I feel betrayed in that not only that he left, but to the colts of all teams.

I think its much worse when you lose the type of player that we've lost this offseason. When a player doesn't show a solid commitment to the team concept and makes it clear that they come first its not a suprise when they leave for more money. When a guy says "team team team" his whole time with you and then all of a sudden says "me" once they can get a couple more million it feels like they lied about what they cared about. I know that theres no reason they cant be loyal to the team when theyre with them and care about only themselves when their contract is up, but I also think it says something about their character.

Well, whatever on the party.

I still think the Colts PAID for a NEW CLUTCH and will find they have bought a heavily used and damaged one when they open the box. ?

Personally I don't think the clutch will last the year, it's going to start slipping bad. We shall see though.?

You guys think they play this game for their health?

The team is the team, so that's where the loyalty goes. But it's a business. It's a business for the players too.

Three super bowl seasons didn't just vanish. AV isn't going to be erased from your Three Games to Glory DVD. He still did everything he did here, and now he wants out.

It would be fine with me if he stayed, but he didn't. So thanks Adam, and good luck pumping up those numbers in the dome. Yeah, we'll beat you in the playoffs now, count on it - but until then, enjoy the ride!

:agree:

Do you ever wonder how players could ever leave loyal and appreciative fans like us for mere millions? I don't. All Adam gave us was 10 years of a possible 15 year career (the final third of which our franchise was reluctant at best to pay him for) and three Lombardi's. Yet we expected more. And come to think of it, I guess he did too! I'm glad at least one of us got what we wanted. Adam got an indoor deal and we got... Gramatica... :eat1:

Uh, Mo, that emoticon :eat1: is Vanderjagt.

Our emoticon selection is pretty limited. We didn't have one all that appropriate - but I guess I could hav e gone with this :woohoo:

Here is Adam meeting with Bill Polian.

Firstly, this is kind of interesting..I wonder if it will be covered in the news..or just make it into the Herald's gossip pages...(I actually wonder who will be there from the club; the mood and such of it all..) But interesting to note that BB will be speaking tonight and will not attend.....LOL...

We'll just imagine a bad injury resulting from the celebration, and that can be our Grammaticon from here on in. Now if he actually gets on the field next season and wins us a game, we know what to do.

:woohoo:

Well did anybody go? Any reports?
