This is just off the cuff, though I've been thinking about this for a while.....
Your team will lose players, every season, for at least a couple weeks, to concussion (not to mention various other injuries)...
Why not extend the season, have a second bye week, and increase the active roster to 60?
It may water down the game by extending the roster, but there are plenty of players who are now on their teams' practice squad who could add to the game.
