Yeah Detroit will always be Detroit the little engine that couldn't. But the Titans didn't do jack squat after that win they got worse it seemed.

Same with Jacksonville also. It seems every year the teams that beat the Pats in the regular season put all their capabilities into their emotional SB and then are drained by the effort. The New England Franchise, even in defeat, is Football Succubus.

.

It amazes me how many storylines there are with Titans who want to stick it to the Pats.
Vrabel traded away to KC along with Matt Cassel for #34 draft pick which turned into Patrick Chung.
Dean Pees DC not offered a new contract after 2009.
Pees retired from the Ravens on Jan.1st 2018 only to unretire on Jan. 28th to join Vrabel.
Lewis, Ryan,Butler, and Kline no longer wanted by the team they helped to win Super Bowls.

The only one who has been clearly bitter in public is Lewis. He sprewed vitriol about the Pats being too cheap before and after that Titans win. Was cowardly quiet by the end of the season and theSB. I would love for a reporter with a spine this week to ask him to comment on his comments.

It sucks too because he might have legitimately been the most fun player to watch this team has ever had.

And don't forget former 2009 draft bust and current Titties ILB coach Tyrone McKenzie, as well as former practice squad cup of coffee OG Jamil Douglas...Josh Kline however signed with the Vikings during the off-season...

Tyrone McKenzie jumped out as a very impressive young man when they drafted him years ago. I forget the details but he overcame a lot and was very impressive. I remember thinking this kid is the material of a self made millionaire someday. He was no bust - he got hurt and had to end his playing.

  • Camp leader in PBUs
  • 0/2 in preseason game 1
  • Two INTs today vs. Titans
Been nasty this offseason

Only reason he possibly isn't starting opposite Gilly Week 1 would be BB preventing balloon head.

Wonder if Tannehill eventually steals the starting job. I think he’s unquestionably been a better QB than Marioata so far in their respective careers. Yet, no Titans fan seems to want to entertain this discussion.

Alot of conflicting reports on Pennel.

I think most reports on him have been good but then he was oddly out there late in preseason game 1.

Personally he had the best play of the 3 practices I attended when he turned into a wall in goal line work. So that was enough to sell me (at least for now).

Plus he signed a football for my nephew too.
