Well, at least he can pay his legal bills with his $122k signing bonus.

That might be all he gets as I don't think anything else in his 4 yr $4 million contract is guaranteed. If this is a first offense and it's a family argument he'd probably be put on probation or in a diversionary program rather have this even go down as a misdemeanor, but it still remains to be seen if they want to make an example of him

Seems like it was a fiance who he believes cheated. He wanted ring back. She wouldn’t. He took her phone until she gave ring back then threw her phone. But was also see by a dorm RA putting hands on her.

Emotional, immature action from a heartbroken young man.

His parents didn’t hammer “NEVER put your hands on a woman” hard enough.

If he learns from it he can recover.
