Yes. They could get the one who is their top choice at 4, and Ersery should be there in the early second round. I would rather have the other first round guys over Ersery, but he’s the most likely to still be there in the 2nd.
Yes, and if we were able to trade down to say 6 or 7 and still get a starting LT, we might be able to trade back into the 1st if we wished.

There wasn't last year. In addition, you would be committing to keeping Lowe to compete with the draftee.
Fkn dude thinks everything is "Next Round" as good.
You HAVE to take someone that HAS DONE IT BEFORE.
He's a fkn mental defective that thinks he has all the answers.

Personally, I'm fine with idea of Carter and Hunter being gone. That situation would do a lot to focus our draft. We'd might trade around a bit (or rather screw around a bit) and get our starting LT, a WR, a DT, TE and perhaps a DE in the first 4 rounds [with a RB or two signed in free agency or in the 5th].

Lowe is on the roster until they bring in another Amazon driver to replace him.
And last year there weren't many starting LT prospects. It was pretty much Alt and that was it. Just so happened Alt's got an all-pro ceiling. I don't think any of these guys necessarily do.

So, how many LT's will we draft or sign in free agency?

For a team that lacks playmakers I think passing on Travis Hunter at 4 is a mistake if he’s there.

But from a far less sexy standpoint if they develop both lines this draft I really can’t complain

So, perhaps we should get a starter in the top 10 AND trade up into the first for a backup LT. Otherwise, we will be relying on Lowe.

I would have no problem with double dipping at tackle, then take WR’s in the 3rd, or WR and RB.

Not everything has to get done this offseason. All the major concerns will have been adequately addressed. Then the next step will be upgrading at the positions that are weakest next season. And they will have all of free agency and the Draft to deal with those upgrades.

Putting QBs in a separate category, there are only 2 premium players projected in this draft class…Carter and Hunter. If one of them is there at #4; grab him (Option A).

If neither are there at #4; then Option B is best.
