Entry coming in the morning with a little more on this, but was going through the stats database I'm putting back together for this season (should be up this weekend with some new categories) and noticed a cool stat I figured I'd share with everyone who was interested:





 
I had the impression it was going poorly, but that's obviously because of the 4th downs.

How many of those 4th downs were Blount?

How many of those 4th downs were Blount?
Just the one run on Sunday. The other two were those deep pass attempts to Edelman in Buffalo.
 
Even then, that failed 3rd and one by Blount was a poor play call. He ran into a very compressed box. Should have been an off-tackle call or a PA.
 
Encouraging on Blount. He hasn't been good on short yardage for someone his size. He should be able to be at least average-good by working on technique, though.
