PATRIOTS NEWS 2026 Pats schedule leaks

Breaking New England Patriots Team News
I think starting with a win is less important than you think. The Patriots have lost week one multiple times in years they went to or won the Super Bowl. Belichick said you didn't even get to know what team you have until like week 5 of the season.

If the Pats are going to lose to the Seahawks, I'd rather it be week one than week 11. Teams that do well in the playoffs that finish strong, not start strong.
It’s an NFC game as well. It’s just not as important as other games.

I see your points. But look at the first 4 games for us! It's good to start off with a win. Of course it doesn't make or break the season.. but this is in the NFL. Look at the Bengals in 2024 lost to us week 1 and I believe it cost them a playoff berth or something. The week 1 loss to LV last season essentially cost us the #1 seed. Winning is always important.

Its all good RF2... crazy busy at work, hard to get fired up with there are a bajillion things all pulling you in different directions... and honestly, losing the SB, not so much losing, but losing the way we did - running off the rails, is still sitting like a bitter pill...

I shouldn't be one to rain on your parade... there are enough grumpy gus's around here...

you want to be positive, you go right ahead...

Pape my guy. You know I love ya! And I'm optimistic becuase I can tell this teams not a fraud. Even with a lesser record i believe they will be a better overall team. Health in my opinion is the only thing that can hamper them. We see teams on the schedule and some fans get intimidated.. I choose to embrace it.. I'd rather them be tested right away and It appears they are.. first 4 games are all 2025 playoff teams. And of course superbowl winner.

2-2 after the first 2 7-3 by the bye 11-6 final record

Just so people have a reference.

It did. Imagine a loss to a Mayo coached team keeping you out of the playoffs lol

Guess we can confirm this soon..,

I am skeptical of no TBD designation for the last 2 games.

Rain. I actually embrace the tough road out the gate.
As you mentioned previously, this could be a big advantage for the Patriots. If the OL can hold up and assuming they trade for AJ Brown and Diggs returns, the Pats should be able to beat Seattle. In fact, Seattle dropped their home opener in 2025 to SF.

With that said, I'd rather have this a mid season primetime game where both teams won't have opening night jitters or rusty and could have good records at that time. There's potential for more hype later in the season. Chicago at Seattle would've been more appropriate.

If that's the Schedule, then the league has put the Pats into a buzzsaw.

7 of the first 11 are away.
Facing the Bears and Vikings on short weeks after facing the Jets and Bills respectively.

The only saving grace is the Pats get to face the Chiefs on 11 days rest.

Why? By that time, the Pats will have played in 4 "Prime Time" games. (2 Thursday, 1 Sunday Night, 1 Monday Night). If you include the game in Germany, that is 5. That's the max allowable currently.

The league sent a message this year that they would rather keep everyone in suspense in the last 2 weeks for play-off seeding by having teams vying for play-off spots all playing at the same time.
