DRAFT DAY DISCUSSION 2026 NFL Draft: Day 2

I LOVE RARIDON. HE'S MY TE1 FOR THE ENTIRE DRAFT CLASS. THE PATRIOS SCOUTS AND FRONT OFFICE AND I ARE IN TOTAL ALIGNMENT. I LOVE THIS DRAFT.

Scott would have been a great addition as well but Raridon is my favorite TE. We landed a stud.

Great job Front Office

Now get my other Eli and I will call this draft an A. I hate to let Scott go through. I know Eli can be more of an immediate solution to the future TE situation. But Scott was so tempting too.

6'7" TE makes me think of Scott Chandler, I trust this kid will be better.

He was honestly my #2 only behind Sadiq who we were never going to get anyway. I had a 2nd round grade for Raridon.

Nick Cattles is Notte Dame fan and loves him.

Said he might be the best TE in the draft.
You do realize you just admitted to a guy being biased making an outrageous statement, right.

Raridon is a mediocre blocker. He's not close to being in the same class as Kacmarek, Roush or even Delp as a Blocker. So there is no way that Raridon is the best TE in the draft.

From The Beast

Raridon shows more promise than one might expect of a player with just 48 career catches. Though rough around the edges as a route runner, he has an athletic foundation that can become a strength of his game. As a blocker, his upright posture and inconsistent hands work against him, but he can reach and cut off defenders without sacrificing his control.

Raridon is still figuring things out, but he gets to top gear quickly and has promising ball skills and blocking chops. His college tape shows the building blocks of an intriguing pro-level tight end, although the medicals will influence his draft projection.

Love it! He is going to be a good player. I was hoping we could have got him after a trade down... but it seems like he was climbing. After him there was a huge drop off at TE IMO.
Henry/Hill in 26, Raridon/Hill in 27-28.

...I gotta wonder if the Patriots try to move up and get Scott now. Even though he's not an obvious need.

Eli Raridon. This guy is our pick. This guy is a threat in the passing game. 6'6 245 and ran a 4.62 40.

Notre Dame didn't exploit him enough imo. His NFL production could easily eclipse his college production.

Injury history might be a bit of a concern but if healthy he could turn into a weapon for us.

Raridon 2 torn ACLs on the SAME knee …..yikes….thats a little risky

It’s a deep TE class, they should double dip at TE.

They may or may not depending on their opinion on Dippre, but they could easily insure this pick later with one of their multiple 6ths.
