2026 Draft: Cornerback

He's a very interesting option if he's day 3. He sounds like an ideal cover 3 corner.

It's interesting that the two CBs who stump Clint Goss for player comps are my two favourites. Hard to say whether that's a good or bad thing.

4 missed tackles all year. Al'Zillion Hamilton is only 5-11, 185 so not the ideal size for a starting outside corner but as a day 3 guy who can backup both inside and outside, he's pretty good.

Largely the same clips in the video. i'm posting this for the tweet itself.

This is the tweet that motivated this post. That's pretty good company for someone who is likely a day 3 pick. also, some guy called Stukes featuring prominently.

Cannot agree more. My 2 favorites, and the 2 most interesting DBs in this very good, very deep draft class.

I'm hoping that the fact that Stukes and Scott - and Kyle Louis - are a bit hard to classify, combined with the deep and strong class, may cause them to slip just a tad. Their tape is too good for them to slip far, but some teams might struggle with how they would be used.

The below is a clip of WR Kendrick Law but there's a reason I'm posting this in the CB thread. Watch Tennessee's #8 who ends up almost chasing down Law at the end. That's Colton Hood. I started this video thinking I was going to be impressed by Law's speed, and I was, but left being very impressed by Hood's speed. FWIW, according to Google Gemini, Law was timed at 23mph in practice and reportedly runs a 4.42s forty. If true, it wouldn't surprise me if Hood runs in the 4.3s.

OK.. Here is my CB "Unicorn"

5'11 -6'1 / 190-205 lbs
Can play both Outside and Slot
Runs under 4.49 40
34"+ vertical
Has good 3-cone and SS numbers.
Considered a project because he went to a Smaller D1 school or D2.

Who do we have, @manxman2601 ?

Hey regulars. Do I hear Charles Demmings' name mentioned?

Do you think Washington have a type?

High point drill has not been kind to the CBs. Looked awful out there. Watching that has me thinking I have to high of expectations on my high schooler high point skills.
