2026 Draft: Cornerback

A Clemson CB I need to look in to.

Jeadyn Lukus, CB, Clemson, 6'2", 200

No 252 on PFF big board, 290 on the consensus big board.

Outstanding size and athleticism.

"One player who put up some impressive numbers was Jeadyn Lukus. Unofficially, Lukus ran a 4.39 and 4.38 in his two 40-yard times.

Earlier in the event, Lukus posted an 11.7 broad jump. That was 4 inches higher than the best at this year’s NFL combine."

Only played 195 defensive snaps this year with fairly lousy grades. One to not get excited about but worth keeping in the back of the mind. Heck, with that size and athleticism, I'd draft him as a KR.

Moore's length + hip fluidity is rare, which is why he is my CB binky. His 4.5 speed is average, but his other traits more than compensate for me.

Stephen F. Austin

Sixteen teams were on hand to watch Senior Bowl participant Charles Demmings during the SFA workout. The cornerback stood on his marks from the combine, which included 4.41 seconds in the 40, 42 inches in the vertical jump, and 11 feet even in the broad jump.

During Thursday’s pro day, he timed 4.24 seconds in the short shuttle and 7.19 seconds in the three-cone while also completing 13 reps on the bench press.

Demmings was terrific in position drills, easily moving around the field and catching the ball. The Minnesota Vikings ran the drills, and Demmings met with the team’s defensive backs coach.

I don't think we're going to draft him, but he has killed the pre-draft process. Fingers crossed.

Remarkable young man.

Cornerback is really hard to predict for the Pats this year. There have only been 4 contacts that I'm aware of and all are late day 3/UDFA and there are really any stand out characteristics to them whether in terms of size or athleticism. We don't really have a Vrabel prototype when it comes to corner. I have no idea when it comes to this position.
