Can we stop worrying about the Chiefs getting into the playoffs? I never got the fear. They have been average all year.

I am far more worried about facing the Texans in the playoffs.

The whole thing is crumbling, the defense stinks, their special teams coverage is suspect, Mahomes is playing like booty.
Running QBs....wrong side of 30....never really evolved from his first couple of years of development to a pocket passer/multi-reader...

Fear the Chiefs!

They are just playing rope-a-dope with the rest of the league. Fifth round coming, just around the corner.

How did Houston get off to such a slow start this season? They have a really good defense and they do have a few players on offense.

You have to admit, if someone told you a year or two ago that when the Pats got back into the playoffs Burrow wouldn't be there, Mahomes would either not be there or scrape in with the whole operation looking toast, Lamar would be struggling and looking horrible and trailing the Steelers who BLOW in Division and Josh Allen would have his worst team in 5 years.

You'd sign up for some elite Texans and Broncos defense as the "big threats" along with the Bills worst team in 5 years.

Jake Andrews looks ok to me, not sure why we released him.

Great punt !!!

After that Bengals choke, I'll wait till 0:00 to get excited

Plus it's not like facing the Texans will be easier

Would be more fun if the Bengals weren't such morons.. Still pissed about that one

In relation to the Chiefs, I am far more worried about facing the Texans.

That said, I am not worried about the Texans in the slightest.

The fear was what the league would do for the Chiefs, not the actual team.

As far as I'm concerned, knock the Chiefs and Ravens out of the play offs. We can worry about the Broncos, Texans and Jags Later.

Watching the Texans defense smack the everloving snot out of teams never gets old. I just hope we never have to endure that.

The Chiefs have too many guys who got fat and happy with all the winning, that's one thing you have to credit the Pats with never being satisfied.

The big bad Chiefs are dead, this team is done even if they comeback, maybe they can reboot with Mahomes/Reid and a whole new cast in 2 years but this team and this era with Chris Jones, Kelce ect is dead.
We do not want to play the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes in the playoffs. The sooner they are eliminated, the better.

The Steelers and the Ravens, on the other hand, are seriously flawed on both offense and defense and took turns in the 4th quarter trying to give the game away. That TD in the 4th Q that the refs stole from the Ravens was an early Christmas present to those of us who hate the Ratbirds for starting Deflategate and for just being whining pains in the worlld's collective ass. Charm City is cursed for some reason - the Orioles, Ravens and Wizards (formerly the Baltimore Bullets) seem doomed to frustration and irrelevance.

The team that looks dangerous to me right now is the Jaguars who are coming of age before our eyes. That team has to ten draft picks all over their roster and are realizing that they can play professional football. It's possible that the Patriots could get them in the divisional round the way things are shaping up.

Yes, this year is a bizarro year, but people are still looking at teams like the Chiefs and Ravens based on what they have been in recent years and not what they are seeing week in and week out this year.

Odds are better that if the Chiefs make the playoffs that they will be the same team they were in the regular season and be one and done than Mahomes and the Chiefs magically turning on a switch and run through the AFC.

Spags is bringing the heat

I just would rather not see the in the playoffs at all. It's a new season and anything can happen including the favourtism they receive .

Aren’t they loosing McDuffie this off-season as well that would be huge

They score a TD here and suddenly it's a whole new game
