How many more wins do we need to clinch a playoff spot? Right now we have 9 wins so maybe if we get to 11 wins maybe.

Players look completely exhausted heading back to the locker room.
Agreed. Vrabel said he'd see the players Monday.. 3 days off is well deserved for the team with the most wins in the league right now. Dam this teams got so many familiar characteristics of past patiots teams it's crazy.. division games are
Always closer than fans will understand. So happy to have competitive winning football back in Foxborough again.

Rham: I think his current turf toe injury might be a blessing in disguise. He now have more time to work on his ball security. When he and Boutte get's back in the line up Maye will be unstoppable.

11 wins (11-6) might not clinch a playoff spot until the last week or two of the season.

Since we won everything NFC (so far) there would need to be only three wildcard teams with 6 wins or less.

Right now: Bills/Chargers have 3, Chiefs/Jags have 4, Ravens/Texans have 5.

Douglas getting 19 snaps and Williams 45.

Can someone explain to me why?
Pop Douglas is doing so much with less he's uncoverable in man coverage: and it looks like he's getting comfortable finding the spot spots in the zone. Williams is a work in progress at least he's getting run: he'll get with the Maye program soon enough.

See my explanation above. Jesters = easy win.
---> Therefore Vrabel/McDaniels decided Williams was getting his 4th Pre-season game in while rest of team is in Week 10.

Solid, workman-like win against a division opponent on three days rest after a physical road game against a Top 10 team.

Yeah, I'll take it.

Maye was a Diggs drop or Hollins basket catch away from 300 this week against a pretty decent Jest pass defense.

Henderson is only going to get better.

10 days rest until the Burrow-less Bengals

Life is pretty ****ing good right now

Yep, Douglas made the most of his snaps and had some key catches. But yet again, he stumbled and fell as soon as the ball was in his hands! It’s as if he’s so small that the weight of a football throws off his balance.

Excited to see Boutte, Hollins, Diggs, Henry & Henderson out there.
We're going Run the rest of our Schedule out of their own buildings. Our Offense is going to be Tough to stop: also don't forget Rham with his running and pass catching abilities.

Apart from wanting to get Williams in the swing of the NFL (and him being, on the other hand, more expendable if hurt!) the more important consideration is which positions they play.

Boutte and Hollins (frequently) have been the two outside receivers with Douglas lining up in the slot. Without Boutte, there is now a need for an outside receiver which Williams has filled. Diggs, on the other hand, has been playing in the slot and so is taking playing time away from Douglas.

So long as the team wins, who's complaining?

And Stevenson.

He does a lot for this offense if he can hold onto the ball.
Yep our Offense is on the verge of being unstoppable: Teams are gonna have to keep up.

I would add that you could also feel Hooper not being on the field. The guy is not an elite TE but is solid and produces. Its a big drop off at the position beyond him and Hunter. We need to look at adding a TE in the off season.

Hopefully getting Boutte, Hooper and Rham back for the Bengals as it will be much needed.

Also going from Diggs to Pop in the Slot is no rest for a Defense. You go from crafty route Diggs to the elusive Pop Douglas separation King: no rest for the weary.

Why do you hate Mendoza?

What did he ever do to you for you to wish that on him?
Jets vs Pats games aint even fun anymore.

Better AFCE QBs make the PATS better.

We know who the Bengals have at WR: but I think Flacco could throw for 400yds and they still lose. Maye should throw for 500 that afternoon. Let's not discount the absence of Kayshon Boutte...Maye really misses him.
