I absolutely loved big Vince but I think Vea is more agile. I would definitely take big Vince in his prime vs Vea in his.Haven't seen one of those around these parts since Big Vince himself...

So basically in between a misdemeanor and a felon?Preferably some guys who fit the scheme already. No more experimentation ffs. 2 pure T only dudes that may or may not have filled in at other positions. Then take a C, would go as far as 2 (WITH the previously mentioned versatility ) I know it’s a lot but these 3 or 4, with a rb (maybe) and the rest on d and I think we will be fine. We are set with G for a while I think. Do this and we can let people play the positions they’re naturally good and comfortable at…
Edit: another thing…they need to have played against legit competition
Edit 2: They need to have had a nasty rep. Jail time even for kicking someone’s ass (other than a female of course). Semi kidding semi not kidding here. Need to have violence in them. Not the “quiet nice guy” types a la Lowe…off my soapbox now…
Probably not #2. Depending on the website, most have those two guys ranked in the 6 to 12 range.Jordan Reid’s new mock draft mentioned that no LT in this draft will be worth taking at 2.
Is this true? Have Campbell and Banks stocks lowered?
Trade back and acquire additional picks, but still take a hopeful stud LT in the early 1st round (if there's one worth taking that high, though not in the top 3 picks). We're not getting one in FA nor any LT in a trade (as one would be closer to their 30's than mid-20's and the draft capitol required for such a trade). If they don't come out of the 2025 draft without a solid day 1 starter at LT, Maye (if he's not already injured from this season), and the rest of the offense doesn't stand a chance.Probably not #2. They would be better off addressing LT via trade or FA then trading back for extra picks and taking the BPA.
Anyone concerned Austin Booker, a 5th round pick, made Banks look bad again and again? Will Campbell is the guy if they are in position. Not sure anyone else is near his level.
It's still way too early, but I'm inclined to get Will Campbell. He's been my #1 choice this year for LT. Now, if Banks falls to the 2nd Round, then I grab him (after grabbing Campbell in the 1st Round).Banks on Texas is getting worked against Georgia so far. Granted it’s against elite talent. Still, wouldn’t touch him in the 1st round after seeing him struggle against others too. If LT is the move, need more certainty and less risk.
I'm all for LT, RT or LT back to back. Maye is too valuable to not invest in his protection. I am hoping that Andrews comes back next year and I have heard that he wants to. Even then, maybe Brown or someone else can prove to be a center in waiting so you can draft one the next year. It's still way too early, but I'm inclined to get Will Campbell. Yep. We can't skimp on the OL and expect Maye to reach his potential. I would absolutely draft a Center that could start from Day 1 too (as we don't know if Andrews can even make it through another year and even if he does, then what?). I'm curious to see if Brown is legit, and even if he is, we need a quality young back up (Jake Andrews can't stay healthy and I wouldn't count on him). If Wallace can be a solid RT, we should still have a solid young backup at RT as well. You can never have too many quality OL personnel. And, with a solid OL and running game (where we need to also add talent, as I wanted Braelon Allen in the last draft), we could get by another year with a team of solid #2 and #3 caliber WR's until we land a stud.I'm all for LT, RT or LT back to back. This year is all about protecting Maye and hopefully getting him a grade A X type receiver.
